You sit on the cool hardwood floor of the dance studio, you had just finished practice and wanted to get one more stretch in before relaxing for the evening.

"I have an important favor to ask." You hear your instructor speak to you as he kneels down to your level.

"of course, sungsengnim! What is it?" You stop what you were doing and sit pretzel style, giving him your full attention.

"You know, you are one of the best students I have and you show a lot of promise." He looks you in the eyes and you nod as he speaks.

"I was talking to one of my acquaintances who owns it large Entertainment Company and unfortunately one of their backup dancers suddenly fell ill. They also have a very important concert coming up." He continues.

You tilt your head in confusion, unsure of how this concerns you.

"Do you think you would be up for the challenge?" He grins, responding to your confusion with a question.

"Oh my God! Are you serious!?" You jump up off of the floor into a standing position and he laughs as he does the same.

"When do I start!?"

"Tomorrow morning at 6AM." He furrows his brows, a determined look in his eyes. "You won't get as much time to learn to choreo as the other dancers, so listen well, and ask lots of questions."

He lays a comforting hand on your shoulder.

"I know you're capable of great things. Don't make me regret this decision."

Before you had realized it, it was the next morning. You yawn and roll out of bed, struggling to keep your eyes open. You had barely slept through the night as you had spent most of it tossing and turning with excitement for the day to come.

You rummage through your closet, quickly pulling on some comfortable clothing and pulling your hair back out of your face before making your way to the address that your instructor had given you.

When you arrive at the studio it doesn't take you long to adjust to your new position. Since you were used to dance practices you fit in with the others seamlessly.

"Let's go! One, two, three!" The choreographers voice echos through the large studio.

"Wow! for this being your first time seeing the choreo, you're doing great!" The choreographer gives you an approving pat on the back as he walks by.

Ever since you can remember dancing had always come so easily to you. It was obvious that you were passionate, as you always made every movement look effortless.

"Awesome job everyone. Let's take a breath and start again in 10 minutes!" The choreographer shouts and everyone stops in their tracks, quickly going their separate ways.

You sit yourself down on the floor, resting your head between your knees and taking a few deep breaths. The few hours of sleep you had gotten had been taking a serious toll on your stamina.

"Here, take this!" One of the dancers approaches you, holding a bottle of water toward you.

"Hello. My name is Jun!" She introduces herself and finds a spot next to you on the floor.

"I'm Y/N, nice to meet you." You reply as you crack open the bottle of water.

"So is this your first concert?" She looks you in the eyes as she speaks, trying to make polite conversation.

"Yes it is...I've done small performances and competitions but never anything this huge!" You raise your voice as you speak, unable to hide your excitement.

But that excitement quickly turns to bitterness as she opens her mouth again.

"I can tell..." She shoots you a snooty look before picking at her nails. "Your moves are amateur at best. But I can help you if you'd like."

"Excuse me?" You mutter through a clenched jaw.

"You could really use it...I mean, who are you expecting to impress dancing like the tin man?" She continues, completely ignoring your annoyance.

"Who do you think you are to be able to talk to me that way?" You hiss.

"I've been dancing for years and I'm a trainee at this company." She speaks matter-of-factly. "It's only a matter of time before I become an idol."

"Idol my ass!" You spat. "I would rather shit in my hands and clap than get help from a bitch like you."

She swiftly snatches the water bottle from your hands, standing up and pouring its contents over your head in spite.

"What the fuck!?" You jump up as the cold water trickles down your back.

"What's going on here?"

You hear a strange voice approach you from behind and turn to see the source of it.

"I asked what was up." The man repeats himself with a sterness in his voice.

Something about him looked familiar, but you were unable to put your finger on exactly who he was. You could tell from the anxious expression on Jun's face that he was someone of great importance.

"Why did you do that to them?" He looks to Jun for an answer, knowing that she was the culprit.

"I was just helping them cool off." She bats her eyelashes innocently but he obviously did not buy it.

"That's not what it sounded like." Another man speaks up, approaching you.

"They are obviously in distress, I think you should apologize." Before you are able to process the second man a third approaches... as well as a fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh.

Looking as if she were being cornered by a large animal she gives you a quick, half-assed apology before making a speedy exit.

"Thank you so much. My name is Y/N." You bow.

The group of men introduce themselves one by one... The one that spoke up first was Namjoon, followed by Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, Jungkook, Yoongi and Taehyung.

"Together we are BTS. We are the group you will be dancing for." Jimin smiles warmly.

"I am honored to have the opportunity to work with you guys." You bow once again, feeling slightly starstruck.

"We look forward to working with you as well." Taehyung nods.

"Yeah! We were watching the dance earlier and none of us could take our eyes off of you!" Jungkook speaks up, an excited sparkle in his eyes.

Yoongi laughs at your formality, gently draping a towel over your wet hair as you stand upright.

"I can tell we are going to have a lot of fun together." He grins.
