Seven With You (BTS x Reader)

Part 10

You decide to go for a walk to relax and think about things…But all you can think about is Jin's disappointed expression.  

"I feel so bad." You growl. "Jimim is going to get it when I see him again." 

You kick a rock, sending it across the street.  

"What has that rock done to you?" 

You suddenly hear a voice behind you a turn to see who it was. 

"Hey, Y/N. What's up?" Namjoon grins, stepping off of his bicycle. 

"Nothing, just taking out some frustration." You sigh. "What about you?" 

"There's a hiking trail just up this way. I was going to go for a walk." He points to a small spot of trees a few meters up the street. "Maybe you should join me. Nothing beats feeling down. More than living in the moment and enjoying nature." 

You cross your arms, thinking about it for a minute. 

"Perhaps you're right. That sounds really nice." 

The both of you walk to the start of the trail. Namjoon lays his bicycle against a tree, the path was on an incline and would require a bit of climbing to get up. 

As you walk you fill your lungs with fresh air and take in all of the sights and sounds of the forest. 

"Namjoon, look!"  

In the corner of your eye you catch a glimpse of a small brown rabbit, it looks like a baby. 

To your surprise Namjoon decides to casually walk up to it, picking it up in his hands. 

"Wait! You can't just pick up a wild rabbit!"

 "Why not? It's cute."  He approaches you, holding the rabbit up to your face and tipping his head on the side as if doing a comparison. "It kind of reminds me of you, Y/N." 

"How so?" You furrow your brows, looking at the rabbit with a confused expression. 

"You both have a similar sparkle in your eyes." He smiles, patting the rabbit between the ears. "And you're both so cute, I can't help but want to hold you." 

Your heart stops for a moment and your face begins to flush with the thought of being held my Namjoon. 

"You're my cute little tokki, Y/N." he laughs, releasing the rabbit once again. 

You both continue to walk up the path together, but after walking for a while you start to lose your breath.  

"You're a dancer, Are you seriously so unfit?" He teases and you out your hands on your hips. 

"Shut up. Don't make fun!" 

"Well we can't turn around, There's something up ahead I want to show you…"   Namjoon crouches in front of you, wrapping his arms around your waist and picking you up in a piggyback position. 

"W-what are you doing!?" 

"Just hold on, okay?" He laughs. 

You wrap your arms gently around his neck as he carries you up the remainder of the trail. 

When you get to the end, he lays you down and covers your eyes. 

"Come with me, I promise it's worth it." 

You trust him and he leads you carefully to the edge of a cliff. When he uncovers your eyes you are met with a beautiful sunset overlooking the city.  

"Wow, it's beautiful!" 

He smiles and you both sit down together, taking in the view. 

You guys have a long and thoughtful conversation as the sun slowly falls toward the horizon. 

"We should head back. Now it's going to get dark soon." He blows. "But before we go we should take a photo together…I'd like to remember this moment." 

"That sounds like a great idea."  

He gets up and sets up his phone, quickly running and sitting back down with you before the timer goes off. You both look at the photo, it looked like a scene from a movie with the red sky in the background.

 "Let's get going now." 

As you walk back down the path the sun disappears and the sky turns black, but surprisingly you are not afraid with Namjoon by your side.  

You tell him this, and about the experience you had the last time you had walked home at night and he offers to walk with you to your apartment. 

You guys walk and talk so long that you start to lose track of time.

Meanwhile.  

"What do you have to go for a walk so late at night!?" Jungkook argues with his dog as he takes him for a midnight walk.

Suddenly his dog stops in its tracks, standing at attention as they hear some voices nearby.  

Jungkook follows the direction of the voices, leading him to your doorstep.  

"I really enjoyed your company Y/N." Namjoon speaks as he watches you walk up the stairs. "Let's do this again." 

"I'd love to hit me up anytime." You nod, turning around as you get to your door. "But I may not be able to sleep knowing you are walking alone. Are you sure you don't want to stay the night?"  

You had felt a little guilty having him walk you home when he had to walk alone. 

"I appreciate the concern but I think I'll be fine." He chuckles. "I'll DM you when I get home so you know i'm alright, Okay?" 

When he says this it calms your nerves a little. 

"Alright, get home safely." You wave. 

"Good night little tokki." He grins and waves back. 

You watch him walk down the dark Street, rolling his bicycle beside him. You keep your eyes on him until he leaves your sightline, then go inside and prepare for bed. 

As you close the door behind you, Jungkook steps out from the corner head had been hiding behind. 

"Ah… I see how it is." He bites his lip. 

He makes his way back to his own house, a fire alight in his chest.
