. THE GIRL AND HER BOW

Orelia smirked as she dodged Finnicks attack, summer saluting past him and jumping to her feet once more to hold her sword up to his neck. He chuckled at that, taking his trident from the other direction and pushing her sword down and out of her hand.

He sent her a teasing look and Orelia just bent down for a moment, grabbing the knives out of her boots. Finnicks eyes widened in surprise, he didn't know she had those in there. Orelia swung at his ankles, Finnick having to jump to dodge the attack, putting him slightly off balance as Orelia did the same move yet again but with her leg, swiping it under him and throwing the man on his back.

Orelia straddled him and held the knife to his neck, smirking down at him when she saw his eyes go wide. "Have you been practicing?" Finnick questioned, not moving as he just looked back up at her. Orelia chuckled lightly. "Maybe a little... have you?"

"Not as much as I should have, obviously." Finnick replied, sitting up when Orelia got off of him. Orelia stood up and offered her hand, Finnick rolling his eyes with a smile as he took her hand and let her pull him up.

Orelia tightened the ponytail in her hair and blew a few strands out of her face, Finnick brushing others away when he saw what she was trying to do. "Thanks." Orelia nodded, putting the knives back into her boots and moving to grab her sword again.

Orelia turned her head and watched as Arlo stood at the shooting range, throwing his spear at the middle of the target that was meant for a bow. She chuckled lightly when he moved on to the next target, throwing a new spear at the middle of said target once again. "I wouldn't want to be the one he's throwing at." Finnick commented, watching the boy as well.

Orelia nodded slowly. "Yeah I stopped playing catch with him a while ago because it always seemed to turn into more of a dodging game." Orelia saw Mags working on a new fishhook, smiling slightly as she watched how happy the woman was. She saw Katniss talking with Beetee and Wiress, all of them looking towards the viewing area where this years game master, Plutarch Heavensbee, was. Then Orelia noticed as Peeta talked with Johanna.

Orelia looked at Finnick. "Has anyone told you about... the Katniss situation?" Finnick thought for a moment, thinking about what Orelia had just said before he realized what she meant and nodded. "Yeah. I assume you've been included?" Orelia nodded back. "I've been thinking and I think the way to her is through Peeta. He seems to have some say in the choices she makes and is a lot more sociable. Katniss is being very specific with the people she's talking to."

Finnick sighed. "What should we do?" Orelia moved some hair out of her face again. "I think I should go talk to Peeta while Johanna is there. Might have a better chance of getting his ear with some help." Finnick looked towards Orelia, watching as the girl looked between where Katniss sat and where Peeta stood. "If any of us have a chance with Katniss, don't you think it would be you?"
