I need him, I want to be in his arms again. I started shaking, as I felt my blood sugar begin to go low, but I couldn't treat it, I was super nauseous. "Baby girl, you're going low. You should probably treat, come here." Mom whispered, as she started to pull me off of her lap, I started shaking my head vigorously, 'no' "Braelynn, my love, you need to treat. I know this is super tough, and you can tell me anything, and everything you're feeling. But we need to take care of your health," she replied, she grabbed my arm gently and picked me up bridal style. "M-mom, if I e-eat I-I'll throw u-up, my stomach is su-super ups-upset." I hiccuped, as I buried my head in the crook of her neck. "I'll get your glucagon then, if you think you'll need it, we need to get you up." Mom replied, "can I d-do my B-Basquimi th-then? I do-don't wanna do a s-shot," I asked, Basquimi was a nasal glucagon, so I inhaled it through my nose, like a nasal spray. "Of hunny I'll go get it," she replied, laying me gently on the couch, I just laid my head back, and continued to cry. "Here baby girl, can you take this for me?" Mom asked, I nodded, and shot the glucagon up my nose, and then heard Devin start to cry, mom offered to grab her for me, I agreed, and she brought my daughter over to me, I cradled her in my arms, she needed me right now as much as I needed my mom. This was going to be painful, and so hard to get through, and I will never be completely healed, but it will get better over time. I still can't believe my baby is gone, Devin will never know just how amazing her dad was, or what he did to protect our country, but he will never be forgotten, and I will do my best to keep his memory alive in my daughter even though she may not remember him.

Demi's POV:

My poor baby girl, I can't imagine what she's going through right now. This is going to be something that isn't going to go away, but it's my job to make sure she's okay and talks whenever she needs to get something off of her chest. "Brae, baby girl. Do you want to watch something to get your mind off things? I asked, "yeah, sure. Can we watch Law and Order?" She asked, yep, she's my daughter.
