Aelara chatted apply with Helaena in the carriage on their way into the city while Aemond sat silently brooding. The trio had agreed to accompany Helaena to the dragon pit where aemond and Aelara would start their tour of the city.

It was a sunny day with a warm dry breeze whistling through the streets, Helaena paused staring off into the distance lost in thought. Aelara thought nothing of it as the glorious dragon pit had just come into view. Towering above all other buildings the pit was nothing short of spectacular, stone sculptures of dragons and their riders decorated the exterior. Aelara was admiring the craftsmanship of the sculptures when Helaena muttered to herself "The crown of salt will snare the wayward wings."

Aelara looked towards her cousin in confusion, deciding to hold her tongue. The carriage came to a halt below the steps leading to the pit in front of them. "You are certain you do not wish to ride atop Dreamfyrewith me, I promise she is extraordinarily well-mannered." Helaena said holding Aelaras folded hands in her own.

"Yes, I am rather excited to tour the city." she said looking towards Aemond who was observing the two women contently. Helaena sighed and exited the carriage practically skipping up the stairs to the pit.

Aelara was about to make her way outside when Aemond pulled her back into the carriage by her wrist.

"You don't have a cloak." he spoke cooly. "It is a warm day. why would I need a cloak?" Aelara questioned pulling her wrist out of his grasp.

"Not everyone takes kindly to our family. And you... Look like a true Targaryen princess." He had taken his own cloak and wrapped it around her shoulders pulling the hood over her head concealing her snow-white locks, his hand lingering on her collarbone for a moment longer than necessary. "And what of you Aemond Targaryen. Are you not concerned over your own Targaryen appearance?" Aelara smirked as she teased her cousin who was grabbing something from the small compartment in his door.

Turning back to aelara he smirked pulling a cap over his head tucking the majority of his long hair under it. "Do not fret, I came prepared."

Aelara huffed as she climbed out of the carriage allowing Aemonds cloak to fall behind her the hem dragging on the ground beneath her. It was obvious that it was not made for someone of her stature. Aelara was almost hurt as she considered herself average in height.

The princess admired the dragon pit for some time before she turned towards Aemond who was now standing beside her looking down at her.

Offering his arm for Aelara to take Aemond could not help but take note of her slim-fitting outfit, though mostly concealed by his cloak the curves of her hips could still be seen. He had intended on giving her the cap to wear, but as soon as he saw her attire he decided to give her his cloak. The thought of another man seeing such beauty sent sparks of jealousy down his spine.
