The boys were down in the basement, the three of us sitting on the blanket fort Mike had made for us the other night. They were taking about taking down something. Something evil.
"We just tell our parents we have AV Club after school." Mike said.
"That'll give us at least a few hours for Operation Mirkwood."
Operation Mirkwood? What is "Operation Mirkwood"?
"You seriously think these weirdos know where Will is?"
Again, with being called weirdos.
"Just trust me on this, okay?"
"Okay."
"Did you get the supplies?"
"Yeah. Binoculars from 'Nam..."
"Hammer, camouflage bandana...and the wrist rocket." Mikes other friend, Lucas said, listing all the items he got ahold of.
"You're gonna take the Demogorgon out with a slingshot?"
"First of all, it's a wrist rocket."
"And second of all, the Demogorgon not real. It's made up!"
"BUT if there is something out there, I'm gonna shoot it in the eye...and blind it!" Lucas yells.
Mike sighs, "Dustin, what did you get?"
