"Arielle wait up!" Mary hastily walked to catch up to her girlfriend.
"Leave me alone Mary!" Arielle snapped back.
Arielle crossed the road without hesitation. A bus was speeding down the street. Without a second to think Mary moved her body to push Arielle out of the way of the bus. Arielle ended up safe on the other side of the street turning around to yell at Mary when she saw it.
Arielle froze when she saw Mary's limp body in front of the bus that was coming straight for her. Arielle ran to Mary's side and clutched her limp body as she spewed tears from her eyes.
One of the bystanders called 911. The EMT came and tried to take Mary away. Arielle just tightened her grip pleading to let her go with them. She wasn't allowed to though. She sat there watching her girlfriends lifeless body being taken away from her. All she could do was pray that wasn't the last time she held her girlfriend.
