POV Marinette:

The classes are over finally, and it's time to go back home...... with Adrien for our project

I was really nervous, I didn't know how ill act in front of him, I couldn't be natural, I stutter whenever I try to talk to him, today I was about to fall but he grabbed me in time

Adrien: Marinette, are you sure everything ok?

Marinette: y-yeah sure, I'm f-fine

Adrien: if you want, we can work on our project another day

Marinette: n-no, let's go h-home

The blond nodded and we both left the room together. We said our goodbyes to my friends and we walked together to my house.

I was afraid, what will dad think about all of this, what if he embarrasses me? what if he hurt Adrien by anything?

We were in front of the bakery, I opened the door and invited Adrien in as I found dad and mom working

We walked toward them, but I could see how dad was annoyed when he saw Adrien, but mom was really happy to see us together

Tom: who is he Marinette?

Adrien: I'm Adrien, I'm new in this school, and in the same class with Marinette. I have a project with Marinette and we had to work together, hope this doesn't bother you Mr. Dupain

Sabine: sure, sure, this doesn't bother us at all

Dad was crossing his arms, looking up and down at Adrien. I was praying that the earth opens up and swallow me. dad doesn't stop launching glares at Adrien

Tom: project? And what project?

Sabine: TOMMMM

Adrien: that's fine, physic project that we had to work on it

Tom: and you will work with my daughter ha?

Marinette: but dad, stop that please

Adrien: that's fine Marinette. If you don't mind Mr. Dupain for sure

Sabine: go to your room Marinette and start working

Tom: but...

Marinette: ok

I asked Adrien to follow me to my room and closed my trap. We put our bags on the desk and we rested on the chaise longue.

Adrien was admiring my room and looking at every part of it then stared at me. my face turned red; I bowed my head trying to cover my blush

Adrien: your room is so beautiful

Marinette: t-thank you and sorry about my dad

Adrien: I think he is so protective toward you, I'm right?

Marinette: more than you think. I'm his lonely child, his lonely daughter, he spoiled me a lot, he gave me all his love, attention and care till now and he hate boys around me except Luka and Nino. I had to convince him for days that they are just friends

Adrien: the one who will fell in love with you will have a serious challenge to get you for himself

Marinette: don't remind me. but when I will fell in love, my heart won't wait to get an authorization from me

Adrien: that's true

Marinette: you aren't really mad at dad? I'm so sorry for that and ...
