POV Marinette:

I was making the one hundred steps in the living room, going right and left like a crazy, thinking about my dad and Adrien

Marinette: aghhhhhhhhhh, I can't stay here while my men are killing each other

I got my purse and was about to leave but my mom's voice stopped me

Sabine: Marinette

Marinette: what's wrong mom?

Sabine: follow me

I nodded and followed mom to the living room. I had a sit in front of her but I was surprised with her question

Sabine: Marinette, why you love Adrien?

Marinette: w-why I love ... I see my dad in him mom, he is the only one after dad who can make me smile, he loves me the way that dad loves me, he protects me like dad. I love my dad so much, and I never loved someone after you because my father's love was unique but when I met Adrien, I found what I need in my man, that's why I love him

Sabine: dad didn't want me to tell you this story but .... The same thing happening between Adrien and your father happened between Tom and my father, and the same challenge happened

I didn't know what to say, I was grabbing my shirt tightly

Sabine: when you were a little girl of one year old, you were so sick Mari, really sick that you had to stay in the hospital to take care of you. your dad didn't leave your room, not even to sleep or to eat, he was there beside you morning and nights. I know that you are grown now and you want to be free but your father try only to protect you, you will always be his little princess

Marinette: I.... I didn't know mom, I should go to see them, bye mom

I gave my mom a kiss on her cheek and I left the house, running to the school

POV Tom:

Adrien was on the floor, after fighting me for a long time, I was lifting my saber to knock him out but I heard my princess's voice

Marinette: DAAAD DON'T

She walked toward Adrien and wiped his bloody cheeks with her sleeves, she had tears in her beautiful eyes while caressing his cheek

Marinette: Adrien, my baby, my darling, I'm so worried

The blond wiped my daughter's tears with his thumb as he smiled at her

Adrien: I'm fine, don't worry, I'm just tired

Mariette: ohhh my love, I'm so sorry

Adrien was able to finally sit up on the floor, but Marinette was looking at me with rage and anger
