Grounded

POV Marinette:

It was almost 9pm when arrive drive me home. We didn't study anything; we didn't work or advanced. We just spent all the time hugging each other, that's it.

Even after all that tie in his embrace, it wasn't enough, I still wanted more hugs, and if possible, I would sleep while his arms are wrapped around me

Adrien: here we are

I didn't want to get out, but he opened the door for me and we stand in front of my house's door

Adrien: tomorrow is Saturday, don't forget I'll pass to take you out

Marinette: n-no, don't, if dad find out, I'm dead. I'll just wait in front of our school

Adrien: are you going to lie to your parents?

Marinette: no, I'll tell my mom the truth and she will manage to inform dad. If he knows, he would ground me at home, he doesn't want any guy around me

Adrien: want me to talk to him?

Marinette: no please, give me some time

Adrien: if you need me, then just call me

Marinette: I will. So, I say bye?

Adrien: yes, you should rest for tomorrow

Marinette: c-can I have a last hug?

Adrien smiled and gently pulled me into a hug. He was holding my head while hugging me as his other hand was on my waist. I hide my face in his chest, my hands wrapped around his back

Adrien: Marinette, if you don't leave my arms right now, it would be hard for me to leave you

I heard him whisper into the hug. I felt so warm in his embrace that I don't want to leave too

Marinette: I feel good in your arms, let me stay like this for a while

He nodded and kept me in his arms for a while, I don't even know how much time passed but all what I know is that I feel warm

Suddenly, I heard dad's footsteps. Adrien and I pulled apart and pretend that we were just talking, just in time before dad get out.

I feel relieved it's night, dad can't see that shade of pink covering both our cheeks

Tom: what's up here?

Adrien: nothing Mr. Dupain, I just drove her home as promised

Tom: ahhh ok, good thank you, go to your room Marinette

Marinette: dad, I want to say something to Adrien first

Tom: go ahead, I'm waiting

Marinette: I mean .... Nothing, good night, Adrien

Adrien: good night, Marinette

We made our handshake and I left inside followed by dad as. I just went to my room, I don't want to hear anything from dad, even called mom's phone asking her to go upstairs

I had changed my clothes and sit on my bed criss cross, thinking about the two coming day

A bit later, mom knocked the trap, she joined me in my bed and had a seat on the edge

Sabine: what's wrong Marinette?

Marinette: m-mom, I.... I

Sabine: I have seen everything don't worry. I was outside for some grocery and I saw you both in front of the door, I didn't want to interrupt both of you but that dumb tom
