The Culprit

|Dylan's POV|

"What was that? "I heard one of them say. Oh shit, I'm so dead... I attempted to escape the scene, only to be pulled in by a pair of hands. I was pulled into the lavatory and then pinned to the wall by two jaguars with athletic builds. I struggled to escape their grip but they were much stronger than I was.

I kept trying to break free but to no avail. Jason then walked up to me wearing an evil grin on his face.

Jason: "How much of our conversation did you hear, babe?" He asked mischievously.

Me: "I heard all of it." I stated with a hint of rage in my voice.

Jason: "I wish you didn't hear any of that babe, now what should I do with you?" He began stroking his chin as he thought to himself.

Me: "Don't call me babe, you bastard! I will never forgive you for what you did to my friend!"

Jason seemed to be slightly shocked at the revelation that the student he had bullied was someone I cared about. He immediately took the opportunity to strike a deal with me.

He promised he would never bully anyone I cared about only if I became his boyfriend.

|Dylan's POV|

"And what if I refuse?" I asked feeling irritated.

"If you refuse... your little friend, Jude, will be next." He threatened.

I couldn't bear the thought of Jude getting hurt so I agreed but only as his close acquaintance instead of his boyfriend and he happily accepted without knowing this. I'll just make him think that we're boyfriends so I could keep Jude safe.

|Jason's POV|

Dylan had accepted my offer! I couldn't help but wag my tail in excitement. Though he was being forced, I convinced myself that in time he would eventually fall in love with me. I guess kinda like Stockholm syndrome but, I'll happily take it.

I let Dylan go and gave him a stern warning never to tell anyone about this conversation. He nodded as he made his way to the door to leave but before he could get hold of the nob I grabbed him by the wrist.

"Aren't you forgetting something babe?" I hinted by tapping my cheek with a grin. He didn't look interested but reluctantly gave me a kiss which made me blush furiously.

He soon left and I also made my way to class feeling very accomplished.

|Jude's POV|

I noticed Dylan walking into the classroom looking defeated. I asked him what was wrong but I could easily tell that he just made up an excuse.

What made his behavior even more perplexing was how he barely paid attention in class and at some point expressed the need to stop our investigation into Jack's brutal beating.

==TIME SKIP==

At lunch, I decided to confront Dylan again to find out what had gotten into him. I made my way to the cafeteria and my eyes widened at what I saw. Dylan was seated with Jason and the other jocks at the popular guy's table.

I looked at Dylan's face and he clearly wasn't too happy and this drove me to waltz right up to where the male beastmen were seated.

"O-Oh, what are you doing here Jude?" Dylan asked looking surprised after noticing me.

"I was just about to ask you the same thing!" I shot back. Dylan then looked down in disgrace.

"Hey Pipsqueak, how dare you talk to my boyfriend like that!" I heard a voice say only to look up and see that it was none other than Jason.
