|Tyler's POV|

I finally found the end of the scent trail and it strangely led me to the restroom. My anger boils as I get a whiff of another scent, one that is eerily familiar...

Jason...

He had always been a careless mutt so it made it very easy to track him down, especially considering the training I had gotten from my previous school.

I tried to enter the bathroom but I was met with a locked door. I banged on it and shouted for Dylan time and time again but there was no sign of the wooden door being opened so I decided to make my own way in.

I back up a bit to gain some momentum then ram into the door with the side of my shoulder,  causing it to fly off its weak hinges.

Upon doing so, I quickly entered the room and the scene that I was met with, caused my blood to boil.

Without a second thought, I lunged toward the mutt and ripped him away from Dylan.

This action caused Jason to fly to the other side of the room and falling on the cold tiled floor with a loud thud.

"What the fuck do you think you are doing Jason!?" I yelled at the top of my lungs, causing Dylan to flinch behind me. I felt bad about it but, I was unable to hold back the rage within me.

I glanced at my human, only to be met with his face being drenched in tears as I could imagine that he was trying to forget the ordeal he had just gone through...

I noticed Jason pushing himself off the ground and glared daggers at me but I wasn't bothered one bit. After what he tried to do to Dylan, he'll be lucky if he leaves this place... alive.

|Dylan's POV|

My body wouldn't stop shaking as I watched Tyler and Jason battle it out. My mind just couldn't process what just happened... I never thought Jason would ever attempt to violate a-and rape me!

Sure, he was known as the bully and he had a very bad reputation in school and probably elsewhere, but I never took him as someone who would stoop so low...

I can't believe I even gave him a chance. I believed in second chances but clearly, he didn't deserve one...

My body continued to tremble as I tried to regain my composure so I could stop the brawl that ensued in front of me. The blood bath I was witnessing didn't help my nerves in the least... it was traumatizing to watch...

My body continued to tremble uncontrollably as I tried to calm myself down... I knew that this was going to haunt me for the rest of my life.

With all the strength I could muster, I finally pushed myself off the ground and made small steps toward the two men who were battling it out, fearing I'd get hit by accident but I had to stop this before the worse could happen...

Jason glanced at me from the corner of his eye, his red pupils staring into my soul.

Dread and fear settled in causing me to freeze in my advance towards the two and before I knew it, tears began streaming down my cheek once more but I frantically tried to get rid of them and put on a strong face.

"You need to stop them before they rip each other apart," My subconscious told me but I couldn't bring myself to do anything.

I felt weak, hopeless, and pathetic as I watched helplessly while Jason collided his fists with Tyler's belly causing the crimson red liquid to spill all over the floor, causing the tiger to double over in pain.

Seeing Tyler in such pain broke my heart and what made it even worse was the fact that he was only in this situation because of me. The thought made something tick inside me, my blood began to boil and a surge of energy overtook me.

"BOTH OF YOU STOP IT RIGHT NOW!" I yelled at the top of my lungs.

The two immediately froze in place with surprise plastered on their faces as they both stared back at me.

They both held each other by their shirts, Jason's dark eyes burrowed into me. All of a sudden, the confidence I gained left me and I began to falter under his menacing gaze.

"P-please... s-stop f-fighting..." Jason's expression changed to one of amusement.

"Why don't you come here and make me babe," He said with an evil grin sending shivers up and down my spine.

"J-Jason p-please stop. I-If you do, I-I w-won't tell the p-principal anything." I noticed Tyler's mouth open to protest, but I gave him a pleading look which made him rethink his actions.

I shifted my gaze to Jason as I felt his intense gaze burning holes into me. He seemed to think for a moment before roughly letting go of Tyler's shirt with the tiger doing the same.

I found myself letting out a relieved sigh as Jason walked toward the entrance which now, no longer had a door thanks to Tyler. But before Jason disappeared he looked back to my trembling form.

"This isn't over love, I'll be back for you." He gave Tyler one last glare before finally leaving.

Once he was out of sight, I released a breath I didn't know I was holding. Tyler immediately came to my side and gave me a bone-crushing hug to which I began to sob in his blood-stained shirt.

"It's alright Dylan, it's over now, everything will be fine, I'll be here for you... always..." Tyler cooed as he picked me up in a bridal style and left the restroom with me.

I wanted to find comfort in his words but deep down I had a feeling that this was not over... and only the beginning.

Little did I know that my life was about to change forever and I might never see anything the same way ever again.
