Taylen's Pov Cambridge, MA December 1st 2022- 7:00am
It was my first day at my new school. My mom and I just moved here from Texas. It was definitely an adjustment but my mom wanted to be as far away from my dad as possible after their divorce.I got up and started getting ready. I did my regular morning routine. I put on my clothes and did my hair and makeup.

" Bye mom" I said going down the stairs. "Bye sweetie" she said giving me a kiss on the cheek and I head off the school. Nervous was a understatement.
At school their was a lot of students in groups. I just had to find mine. I go to the counselors office.
"Hello Miss White" she said . "Hello Mrs. Anderson" " I hope you are excited to be here. This is your tour guide, Maya." " Hey Maya" I said nervously.Only because I'm new. Not because of her appearances " Hi! I'm luck to be your tour guide and give you the best experience ever as your Student Body President."
She gives me a tour. The school wasn't as big as I imagined. I go to first class and enter right before the bell rings.
End of day All my classes were pretty much the same. Annoying teachers and students that don't know how to dress. I could already tell it was going to be a long year. Glad I'm a senior. Maya did give me her number. She said if I needed anything to text her. I wasn't really interested in communicating with anybody at that lame ass school.
Maybe tomorrow will be better. I kept telling myself.
