Chapter 4

That guy,he is looking at me!!! But he looks like a nice person...

"Hi! I'm Houshou Marine! Can i know your name?"

"Eh...sure,i guess. It's Y/N L/N,nice to meet you,Houshou-san."

"You can call me Marine! And i would call you Y/N!"

"Sure,Marine."

I wonder how i can talk with him that easily back then and it's still an odd first time interaction for me. How we just have an eye contact and decided to get known with each other.

In a short time,we became best friend. We often play video games together and sometime going out together at the weekend. A date.

As time passes by,i met with new persons who later turn out to be my best friend. Rushia,Pekora,Noel and Flare. And at the same time,i started to feel akward towards him and sometime my heart beat faster when he's around.

That day,at the afternoon when there's only two of us and we're sitting next to each other in a bench watching the sun going down. It was a really fun day for me,i literally forgot about all the stuff that make me upset.

At the end of that day,i'm scared that i wouldn't be able to do this anymore...with him.

"Hey,you're not gonna leave me,right?"

That word just came out from my mouth and straight from my heart. It was a mistake.

I don't really remember much that day,but i do remember giving one of the pictures we take together at the photo booth. The same one i still kept till today.

Over the weeks passed,i realize that i have a feelings for him. In fact,i loved him.

But,somehow i ruined everything.

"Marine,i liked you."

I leave him at the rooftop,without saying anything.

He was a different person,his glance,his face were really different. It's the first time for me seeing him this serious,every word came from him are his feelings that day.

I wanted to hugged you.

It's a struggle for me to expressing my true feelings towards him. I wanted to hugged him tight,and say how i love him so much and how i cherish every seconds we spend together and kissed him.

It supposed to be the best day for me,but in fact it was horrible.

I always avoid him whenever we met. I'm scared to look at him again.

Pekora and the others keep convincing me to at least talk with him again over and over.

Noel just told me that he just met with Y/N and have a short conversation with him. And said that,he is short of tempered now.

'Argh,this is my fault!'

I take a deep breath,i-i will do it.

A coffee shop...what is he doing here?

Anyway,i need to met with him. He perhaps already hated me,but at least i wanted to apologize to him for what i do. Maybe,we can talk again like before.

I entered the coffee shop,as i open the door i can heard sound of bell and a chill music.

I saw Y/N not far from me,i then ordered a coffee to the cashier and sat in front of Y/N.

"Hey!" I greeted him. "It's been a long time."

"Yeah" He replied,coldly. "What are you doing here?"

"Just stopped by to get some coffee." I lied...i actually followed you.

"You've changed." He said to me. W-what???

"You too. You became a cold person now." I replied. "More matured too."

"Noel probably said things about me to you,right?" I asked,getting his attention.

"How did you know?" He asked back.

"That's true. What Noel said are true. I missed you,in fact i loved you. I regret leaving you that afternoon without saying anything,i'm sorry." I paused,taking another deep breath. "I don't know what to say,i'm confused with this feelings of mine. Your a great friend,but i have no love interest. Back then. I'm sorry."

"Look,i don't have ti-"

"I knew you maybe hated me,but please can we talk again like before?" I cutted him.

"Please,leave me alone for a time." He stand up and leave...

Damnit.

I take a sip of the coffee i ordered earlier. It's bitter.

Why i broke into tears...
