Regulus was sitting on his bed, it wasn't much just a torn mattress on the floor of his and his older brother's room. He loved causing trouble but he's been told to stay inside today as something big was going to happen.

Barty Crouch Jr. one of his best friends, walks into his room. "Regulus, guess what?!" He shouts, really excited, causing a groan from Regulus. "You finally can take over your father's position?" He laughs, shaking his head, "no some of us are being chosen to go to hogwarts. Won't it be fun to cause terror on the proclaim heroes half?"

"Hogwarts? Why would we be wanted there? Didn't they ban 'slytherin' types? Because we're bad blood?"

"Yes they did, but the prince wanted to give the newer generation a chance."

"And he's going to choose the worst names I'm guessing, which that's why you're here right?"

"Yes, exactly! The worst names being Black, Rossier, Crouch, and Meadowes."

"Ugh, my mother wants me to take over the kingdom doesn't she?"

"You're correct." They hear a voice enter the room, it's a happy voice. Must be Sirius, he is always positive, shame he wasn't already at hogwarts.

"Well hello Sirius," Barty loves messing with the brothers. They became rather close.

"Hi Barty, you should go pack. Apparently you were right. Our names got picked, gotta help Reggie pack." Sirius smiles and grabs two suitcases. He probably tricked them off of someone.

"Wait, we're not being separated are we?" Regulus asked, worried his brother might not be able to go with. They were rather close.

"Ah, I got to go, cya Regulus, Sirius." Barty left their room.

"Of course I'm going, she just wants to talk to you before we leave. She has high expectations, you know." He sighs, opening a green suitcase grabbing Regulus things. "Go talk to her, I'll pack everything. It won't be much."

"Right... Maybe we can have a new start, depends if we like the place, huh?" Regulus laughs and gets up. "Maybe we can finally get the spells now."

With that the younger boy left the room. He of course found his mother in her study. "Mother." He speaks, standing at the doorway. Hands clasped behind his back.

"Ah, Regulus! I have something for you." She turns to face the boy, book in hand. "This is my old spell book. Only those chosen can do magic, it's in the bloodline. Shame we can't do magic here, isn't it?" He nods, "it is a shame."

She steps forwards, putting her hand on his shoulder. "I have wishes. Although you probably know what they are, which of course is to rule their kingdom and break the magic keeping us locked away."

"Yes mother, I will proceed with your wishes." Regulus swears he sounds like a bot when talking to her, but before he can see if he's dismissed his mother hands him the book.

"Take it, make mother proud. Sirius will be going with you. Make sure to keep him in check, you guys will probably all be sorted into none of the houses. I won't be surprised if you guys make Gryffindor. That's the house of the prince, that's the house one of you needs to make." He grabs the book, "by one of us you mean me?" He looks at the cover of the book. The ancient and noble house of black. It's a book of generations.

"I was hoping Sirius, both of you will be working together. Now shoo, they'll be here in an hour for you."

With that Regulus walks back to his shared room, when he enters everything is packed. No surprise, they didn't own much. "I got the book. She gave me the book..." He sounds shocked when he enters the room, still looking at the book in his hand.
