The Light Behind your Eyes (Ereri)

Chapter 5

Eren POV

"You can stay with me. I live alone anyways." Levi suggest's.

"N-No I couldn't." I reply, blushing.

"Just get in the car brat."

"I'm not a brat!" I yell, but I get in the car. We drive in silence for 15 minutes then he presses a few buttons on the roof and an enormous garage opens revealing 3 other cars. A Black Ferrari, a Lamborghini Egoista and A Porsche 918 spider. I stare in awe at the cars, how could he afford all this? He parks his car and we get out. We take the door from his garage to his kitchen. As we walk in i'm blinded by the giant window reflecting the light of the sun off the sparkling white counter tops.

"Wow..." I say, finding it hard to find words. Levi goes to the pantry and I awkwardly stand to the side, not wanting to touch anything.

"Oi, Brat!" Levi yells.

"What?" I yell back

"You know you can sit down right?" He calls.

"Oh, I guess." I look around, trying to find a place to sit and just when I found somewhere, I hear him yell:

"TAKE YOUR SHOES OFF."

"Alright, alright." I take my shoes off and go over to the black velvet couch and sit on the very edge. Levi comes back out and looks at me.

"You can make your self comfortable."

"Nah, I'm good thanks."

"Alright then..." He turns around and takes a pot out of the cupboard. He puts it on the stove and starts making something to eat.

"I hope you like cheeseburgers."

"No you don't have to make me anything."

"When was the last time you had a real meal?" He asks.

"Uh, probably 2 months ago..."

"Exactly." He returns to making the food, when I notice a grand piano. I stand up and walk over to it. I pull out the bench and sit down on the bench. I just stare at it, getting the urge to play it, even though i've never played it before.

"EREN!" He calls.

"YES?" I yell back.

"WHERE ARE YOU?" He yells.

"AT THE PIANO." I yell back.

"GET BACK HERE! FOODS ALMOST DONE!" He yells. I get up and walk back to the kitchen. He places the burgers on the table. I sit down behind one of the plates and just stare at it.

"Eat, Eren."

"No thanks, I'm not hungry."

"Eren..."

"I appreciate everything Levi, but you don't have to do this for me, We've known each other for less than a day. I'll be going now, thank-you Levi and I'll see you at school." I get up and slip my shoes on and I'm about to walk out the door, when I feel a hand wrap around my wrist and pulls me back. I feel his strong arms wrap around my waist, keeping me in place.

"Levi, let me go."

"Not until you promise you'll stay."

"Levi, you can't do this for me, I have some money and I'll scrap by."

"No you stupid brat, you can't leave. I'll be all alone again."

I've never seen Levi look so afraid. I feel him shaking, when I realize something.

Levi always seems so strong, but that's just a wall. He is actually scared and a nice person.

"Levi, I'm so sorry. I'll stay."

"Promise?"

"I promise."
