Accidentally Met You

Chapter 1:

"Goodbye, Dani."

Those words haunted me always. Those were the last words my brother told me. The last words before he got shot in a mall hold-up a week before my birthday.

*Ring* *Ring*

"Uggghhhh.......It's six? Already?" I whined, getting out of bed.

I'm Daniella Brianna McHenry, call me Dani for short. My parents are Julianna McHenry and Andrew McHenry.My mom and dad are one of those people who come from a very rich family and eventually, they brought that fortune to our family too. Our family originally has 4 members until my brother, Jake, died in a mall hold-up a week before my birthday. So now it's just me, my mom and my dad.

"Good Morning, Ms. Daniella. Would you like a breakfast in bed?" My personal maid, Austia asked coming into the room.

"No thank you, Austia. I'll eat downstairs after preparing for school." I answered.

"Okay then, I'll be leaving now, Ms. Daniella."Austia answered.

"Austia, I told you to call me Dani." I pointed out, reminding her.

"Yes, Ms. Dani."Austia said, leaving the room.

As soon as she left, I went to my bathroom to take a 15 minute shower. When I finished, I got a white golf skirt, a pink tanktop, a black cardigan and a pair of pink and turqouise Chuck Taylors. After putting on my clothes, I went down and joined my parents for breakfast in the dining room.

"Good Morning, mom, dad." I said as I sat down.

"Morning, sweetie." My mom said.

"Morning. darling" My dad said.

They watched me as I placed some eggs and bacon on my plate.

"Dani, I hope you don't have any plans for tonight." My dad said.

" Actually, I don't. Why?" I answered.

"Because you're going to a party with me and your mom."

" Tom will be bringing your dress, shoes and accessories to your room by the time you get home." Mom added.

"Okay." I replied, finishing my breakfast." Gotta go to school."

"Okay bye sweetie, be back by 4:30." Mom said.

"Okay. Bye mom, dad." I said, bidding them goodbye.

Outside the McHenry Mansion.....

" Morning, Tom!" I said as he opened the limo door for me.

"Morning, Dani. To school?" he asked.

"Yep! Oh, and can you tell me what my dress looks like?"

"Oh no, I'm not telling. Now, get in."

"Please?"

"No."

At School....

*Where is she? Where is she?* I asked myself.

Suddenly, I heard a voice calling my name.

"Dani! Dani! Dani!" The voice said.

"There you are, Cass! I've been looking everywhere for you!"

"Sorry, I was a little late."

"A little? It's already 7:30."

"Sorry." She answered.

"Ugghhh...you're always late."
