You sweated at the intense staring contest that was unintentionally started.

Their eyes sparkled with mischief, you tried to noclip out of the area. The human was faster than you, tackling you down and onto the rough concrete.

You were momentarily shocked, because you were freakishly tall, way taller than a grown human adult. We are not gonna mention the partygoers, their fucking skyscrapers at this point.

The height differences were just staggering, you shrugged mentally.

You were still, your mind was zoning off until the human flicked your mask. You winced at this action.

"Let's get outta here," They gesture their head to the still knocked out robber. "We don't need him waking up now, do we?" Their grin softened at the edges.

"Sure." You muttered out. Grabbing you by the wrist, they tried to pull you up. You were slightly amused at the attempt.

Finally pushing yourself off the pavement, you stood up and held the axe in your unoccupied hand, wondering how it was nearly your height.

"My name's (F/N)! What about you?" They strained their neck to look at you. You pulled your wrist away from their hand.

"(Y/N)." You answered, and that concluded the conversation, thinking you were free to go, you suddenly got a harsh pat on the back and (F/N) laughed.

"I'm kidnapping you. No context!" Their smile turned into a devious smirk, whom in their right mind would kidnap a stranger that saved them from potentially dying?..

"Wh-" You didn't even finish your words, (F/N) sprinted off whilst having a firm grip on your forearm. You yelped as a result.

Occasionally trying to pull away, this just caused you to stumble and scratch your knees or palms against the concrete, so you accepted your fate.

Upon reaching (F/N)'s desired location, you noted that this was an apartment building. Now if you think about it, everything looked so bright and perfect, happy.

You could've scoffed at the irony of it all.

Pushing you inside their abode, you tried to steady yourself to not topple over onto the floor. (F/N) only laughed once again.

And about your 'miserable' future? It starts here.

The aesthetic was pleasing to the eye, it was pretty modern with a few antique items scattered about.

(F/N) came into view, you looked down at them.

"Why have you brought me into your home?"

"Because I can, besides, you looked like you were a hobo." You didn't know what a hobo meant, so you just shrugged.

"Okay?" They just slapped their knee and wheezed in laughter. You sweatdropped.

Eventually they explained what a hobo was, and you would've blushed in embarrassment if you could.

So apparently you're living rent-free in a random person's apartment, well. The random stranger soon will become your worrisome friend.

You ended up being distant, only returning to the living space when (F/N) explicitly asked you to. You kept on wandering around the city, you had no currency and thus you ended up stealing things without (F/N) noticing.

Say, if they did notice.. They'd probably just shake their head and say 'Classic (Y/N)'.

You recently discovered a thick book in a random shop, which caught your interest and you stole it, the usual.

The cashier was much louder and persistent than the other ones that you had encountered, but you just noclipped back into (F/N)'s house and said nothing.

(F/N) was also busier, saying something about rush hours and procrastinating.

Settling on one of the chairs in the dining room, you stared at the cover. It had the palette of the rainbow in the shapes of hearts lined up in a circle, strangely cyan was part of the colors.

The rim and edges were lined with gold, and the material of the cover seemed ancient, that included the texture of the pages. The most confusing trait was that it emitted a slight glow, you let out a long sigh.

It was incredibly thick, and pages seem to be constantly adding or disappearing.

Opening up the book, you flipped through the pages.

AUs.. multiverse, same people, soul traits, yeah your brain hurts. How long has it been? Glancing at the clock, it turned out that (F/N) would've been already home.

Setting the book on the table, you quietly stepped up the stairs to hear soft snoring. (F/N) is asleep.

You remembered that you read something about 'Outertale', maybe you should go there to clear your mind. You closed your eyes.

Noclipping into the AU, you let out another sigh. Opening your eyes, you couldn't marvel at the sight above you, as you had some bad case of cursed luck.

You just walked in a battle field between two opposing forces, both of their aura's radiate power. The landscape was littered with ink and paint. Blue strings and many, many bones.

You gulped, and then you were gone. Both had detected your presence, you feared. Hopefully they do not hunt you down like an animal.

You were back into that chair you read the book in, maybe you should just stay here.

..Should you talk to (F/N)? Yeah you should, it feels like your odd relationship was becoming more strained. You kinda didn't want to be kicked out.

It had been weeks, you couldn't quite place a finger on it, the unknown feeling inside your guts.

The moon and stars shone brightly, seemingly focused on only you.

You drifted off to sleep, burying your head into your hoodie's fabric. The numbness left behind the tingling of pins and needles.
