tw + cw: Mentions of bl00d and dy1ng, use of Profanity

A/n: I'm sorry for the poll in Quotev being forgotten in terms of usage in future chapters, but tbh part time jobs at two different factors that MC was familiar w/ is pretty neat.

Again, sorry for the Inconvenience :,/

Flipping through the massive piles of discarded papers and ads, your mind started to buzz with ferocity. Jeez, can you find anything eye catching or something that's in your field of work?

Dream had already left due to his own problems, something about balance you supposed.

You had been huddled up in this random room in a random apartment that you'd have to start paying for once you start earning some income. Slouching into the rather uncomfortable chair, you groaned in frustration. Why can't you just live with (F/N)?

They seriously want to isolate you, huh?

'That's it, once I pay off the unannounced debt I'm currently in I'll move something from my void here.'  You thought, sitting upright once again, your fingers skimmed over the small selective few you had picked out in your own favor, and Dream's..

They were all bursting with color, which you felt slightly nauseous at.

Shuddering and suppressing the need to gag, you try and forget about your horrific death. Try and heal.

Tracing the frowny face that was etched on your mask, you sigh again.

Picking out one that had caught your eye, reading over the contents you became giddy, the thoughts of your death had been pushed to the back of your mind. For now.

There was an advertisement on Tech work, which your kind excelled at. A list of departments was present, engrossed in the choices, you didn't notice the door being swung open behind you.

Dream slightly smiled at you, happy that you got yourself together. Soon you'll be a solved case and they could focus on other ones.

Jolting at the tap on your shoulder, you whipped your head to stare at Dream, honestly you almost broke your neck whilst doing so.

Dream flinched at the sudden movement, but composed himself.

"Do you think you'd also want to take this job?" He pointed towards an overly bright advertisement that was bursting with colors. When you glanced at the contents, your stomach twisted itself into knots, dread settling in your senses.

Trying to get back into reality once again, you took deep breaths to try and calm yourself down. Dream became concerned about the amount of negative feelings that you were emitting, furrowing his non existent brows.

"Yeah..No, I'm not taking that." You whispered, fearfully grasping at the paper, you crumbled it up and threw it in the trash bin in the far corner.

Dream shrugs and digs out the crumbled paper, displaying it to you.

"Why not? I think this could also bring some Joy in contrast with your other job."

You gritted your 'teeth', placing down the other paper you prized. You don't need to work at anything related to parties or planning parties, generally you think you'd be just fine with one full time job.

Letting out a long sigh, you started breathing normally again. Giving Dream the most deadpan look you could with your mask.

"No."

Dream quietly pouted, and unintentionally (?) gave you puppy eyes, you twitched in slight irritation, and guilt?..

You both stayed still for what felt like hours, which in reality was a few minutes.
