George adjusted his leather gloves as he wandered down the hall, looking off at the ocean.
"At least it's a sunny day." He looked down at the ports below, humming softly. He soon stopped as he watched down from above, watching various people wander the docks.... If only he could blend in like that... and get to be happy.
George softly smiled, resting his hands on his hips- adjusting his book bag faintly.
"If only I could blend in.." he hummed softly.George was a siren that fled the sea for a better life.. and he soon found himself at the academia and slowly becoming one of the.. interesting students there... just the downside of being there- he has to pretend to be allergic to water or his secret will be shown.
"Well well- if it isn't the boy allergic to water."
George looked back, humming softly.
"Oh? if it isn't the one and only failure of the academy.." he rolled his eyes- smiling.
"How are you doing this fine day? Failing another test.""Tch, I'm doing amazing." She flicked her hand faintly up.
"And I'm not a failure anymore~ because the high council said they'd fund my studies~" she walked over to George.
"And how many years has it been of you asking to be funded~"George tilted his head before lightly chuckling.
"You must have a hearing problem for the amount of times I tell you this." He covered his mouth faintly as he chuckled.
"I've never asked for funding from the academy, I've been maintaining my work and studying- I scrap a report when I need too."She puffed her cheeks out.
"You need to go check if your theory is correct you know!" She huffed.
"About that- cave!""You know i don't like going to the sea" George rolled his eyes, walking towards the woman.
"I tell you this every time alyssa." He shrugged, his smile very apparent."Yeah yeah." Alyssa crossed her arms, rolling her eyes.
"Cause your allergic to water or something." She gave George an unimpressed look.
"Some excuse I say!""Mhm." George smiled, nodding faintly.
"Why do you think I have to wear gloves and just fine material in general?" He adjusted his glasses. His glasses that had.. no frames in them.
After a few moments they heard foot prints behind them- aggressive foot steps with the sound of.. chains Rattling...? Or metal clanging together.
George looked back, seeing a strange figure walk down the hall with another.
"What the..." He felt his stomach drop, instantly recognizing who this figure was.Alyssa peaked over, seeing the familiar.
"Oh, he's back already!!" she tilted her head, a smile growing very apparent on his face.
"He's been here a few times these past few months! He's been in town."George scrunched his nose, glaring at the other over his shoulder.
"Oh." He scoffed.
"What's a pirate doing here.""I don't know really- but you have to admit.. he's so cool and looks- well Y'know..." Alyssa hid next to george, looking over at the pirate.
"Pirates are so cool!"George scoffed.
"This is an academia, a pirate doesn't have a place here" he hated pirates.
"Plus you can't see his face."Alyssa rolled her eyes.
"I don't think he wants to be here, the academia keep harassing him apparently." she looked at George.
"Which I don't mind~ cause I get to see him every time."George kept silent watching as the individuals came closer... cringing faintly as he noticed the second pirate.
The individuals soon passed them, not paying any kind to them... other then the one with the mask.
