George sat at the windowsill, watching as the snow fell.
"Wow.." he smiled. He was so mesmerized by the snow... it made him happy to finally be able to watch it.... The one thing he's always wanted to see.
"You sure you wanna watch from the window?"
George turned as saw Dream walk in, taking off his trench coat for the first time.
"Yes.." he looked out the window.
"I like the window.""Well be careful~ the sirens might see you." Dream chuckled, making his way over to George.
"And there quite dangerous~" he teased.George frowned faintly.
"I don't think..Sirens aren't that bad.." he mumbled under his breath.
"Some are cool.."Dream tilted his head.
"Sirens are bad." He chuckled faintly.George looked back at Dream with a sad look.
"Not all sirens are bad.." he frowned.
"Some are good.. I hope so at least.."Dream was silent for a few moments before chuckling.
"You haven't been on the waters as long as I have, There's no such thing as a nice siren."George looked forward, looking back out the window.
"I guess your right." He had an unimpressed look, might as well just spill his secret to the blonde.
"But you haven't lived there as long as I have."Dream tilted his head.
"What are you on about?" He hummed, chuckling faintly.
"I thought you were from that town."George grabbed the tip of his glove, sliding it off his hand.
"Do you have any water." He glanced over his shoulder."Uh yeah?" Dream reached for the cup of water on his desk, walking over to George.
"I do..?""Do you promise you won't get scared..?" George glanced at Dream... he should tell the pirate captain.
"Uh.. sure...?" Dream thought it was some joke, what was George trying to do.
"Here's your cup." He held to cup to George."If I promise to help you get to the ice cave- can I still stay....?" George sounded sympathetic, frowning faintly.
"I like this place... it's homey...""Sure..?" Dream cocked a brow under his mask.
"You don't need to help necessarily." He shook his head.George hesitantly grabbed the cup from Dream before dumping a slight bit of water on his hand.
"This is why I can't go in water.." his skin soon turned to blue scales.
"I am one of those monsters you speak of."Dreams eyes widened, staring at George's hand... he's- a siren?!
"I-" he stumbled back faintly.Judging by dreams reaction.. george knew the answer.
"It's okay, you don't have to tell me." George made his way off the windowsill, sliding the blanket off his shoulders before nearly folding it.
"I'll leave.." he nodded, frowning faintly.
"I'll try my best to decode what I've written... but it won't be very good as I can't write neatly nor can I really read-"The brunette had a weak smile, carefully adjusting his gear on his body before looking over at the desk... avoiding too look at the pirate.
"I don't wanna scare or hurt anybody... I just wanna live a happy life.." George looked down, frowning.
"Humans always seem so happy.. so I thought i could too" he mumbled under his breath. Before George was about to walk off, he felt a hand on his shoulder.
George looked over his shoulder, still having that guilt look towards Dream.
