George sat on the bed, eating the fruits that Dream gave him.
"Thank-you." He muffled, his smile growing.
"This tastes very good- I really like fruit."

"I'm glad your enjoying it." Dream organized through his desk, trying to find various things.
"I'm trying to find a book for us to read.." he looked around the room.
"I can't remember where I put them.."

"I'll look.. but-"
George leaned back, smiling.
"Could you get some more blankets...? I'd like to-.. have some more..?" He watched his words as sirens like to make 'dens' for there sleeping spot which was making it comfortable for them to sleep.
"It gets rather cold in here"

"Mhm, of course" Dream slid his mask off, soon walking out of the room.
"I'll be back." He closed the door behind him.

.: George POV :. 

George happily sat on dreams bed, picking at the fruits and eating them.
"Mm." He smiled, thinking of how happy he is now of days.

He yawned Soon after he finished his fruit- but before he could settle his plate down- he was interrupted- or.. more like pinned to the wall lightly.

"So your dreams new boyfriend! Wow!"

George jumped, looking up at the new individual who leaned in front of him"
"I-" he looked shocked, leaning against the wall.
"....hello....who are you....?"

"Hi! Wow! You look cool!" They smiled, tilting there head.
"I'm Karl! It's nice to meet you!" He nodded, his smile growing happily.
"You look really pretty for a scholar!!"

George looked around, rather confused.
"I'm confused..." he Mumbled... why was- karl in here..
"Why are you here..? Your the boy that was with Sapnap earlier..."

"I am! And Sapnap told me about you and Dream! And he said you gave me that gift!" Karl felt happy that George went out of his way to get him a gift.
"Thank you! It's really pretty!!" He cupped George's hands together.

George smiled faintly, his fangs showing faintly as he was glad karl liked his gift.

Karl looked faintly shocked.
"Oh- you are a siren." He tilted his head, giggling faintly,

George's stomach dropped, covering his mouth.
"I'm sorry- I don't want to scare anyone." He mumbled softly, looking around for Dream.
"When will Dream be back.."

"Nonono! Don't worry!." Karl lightly chuckled, shaking his head.
"I don't mind- just shocked me a little." He patted georges shoulder.
"Besidesss.. Sapnap said you wouldn't hurt anyone."

"And I don't want too!" George curled into the corner of the bed.
"I just want to live happily with people." He looked down.
"Especially with Dream- and the cr-"

"Is that possible for a siren to live happy on a pirate ship?" Karl tilted his head the other way, looking at George's face.
"With a bunch of humans?" He said in a firmer tone.

George's gaze soon shallowed as he soon felt upset... he didn't like the thought of Karl's words.
"I... don't know- I hope so... I'm happy with Dream now-" he didn't understand what was going on.
"Dreams nice to me- and makes me happy..."

There was a faint long silence before Karl chuckled faintly.

"Great! You passed the first test!" Karl stood up, resting his hands on his hips.
"Congrats!" He lightly laughed.
"I see you really don't want to hurt anyone!"

George blinked, staring at Karl before doing tearing up.
"Why did you do that.." he began to tear up... he thought Karl was going to do something bad or hurt him.
"That was really mean-"

Karl's gaze soon softened- realizing he might have pushed it a bit too far.
"Oh- I'm sorry....." he mumbled faintly.
"I didn't mean to hurt your fee-"

"What the fucks going on?!"

Karl jumped faintly, soon looking over and seeing Dream holding quite a few blankets.
"I'm sorry- I didn't mean to make him cry.." he mumbled.
"I was only trying to see his intentions.."

Dreams attention turn to George.
"George!" He quickly looked at Karl, speaking firmly.
"Get out now Karl, I'll speak to you after."

Karl lightly nodded before looking at George.
"I'm sorry.." he soon made his way out of the captains quarters.

.: Dream and George POV :.

Dream quickly placed the blankets down next to george.
"What happened??" He quickly crouched down next to the bed.
"What did Karl say..?"

"The stupid test thing to see my intentions." George scrunched his nose.
"He just asked me a few questions and just scared me overall.." he sat in the corner.
"Mostly it just made me sad- for a dumb reason too."

"I'm sorry." Dream took off his mask, placing it down.
"I'll try not to let him in here again.."

"Sapnap told him we were dating and that I'm a siren." George covered his mouth.
"He noticed my fangs and got scared..." he mumbled into his hand.
"I think..."

"Don't worry- even if people find out your a siren.." Dream carefully got onto the bed, sitting himself in front of George.
"I'll protect you.. okay? I'll be right by your side." He rested his hand on the brunettes shoulder.

George's gaze softened, soon smiling softly.
"Do you think... we can find that book..?" He hugged himself.
"I'd like to hear you read."

"Of course, just let me find it and we can." Dream slid off the bed, glancing around.
"It might take a few minutes though..." he mumbled...
