George was chained near the window sill, frowning.
"Please- just let me go." He tugged his arm on the chain, trying not to get annoyed.
"There's no use In having me.""I don't think so." They scoffed, sitting on there bed as they read the journal.
"We can't just hand you back to academia anymore." He shook his head, trying not to laugh.
"Your professor made a grand mistake.. and that mistake lead you to be ours."George's gaze softened... how are people so dumb.. LIKE SERIOUSLY- how do they give people away like that!
"He thought we were the people that were gonna take you to some place- I have no idea where as I've forgotten" the pirate captain laughed, standing up.
"And he paid us quite a fair bit too- which helped with food and other various items."George leaned back against the window sill bed, staring down... why is this place filled with idiots.
"I see..." he frowned..soon thinking about how this came to be.
"But I have a question regarding all this."The pirate looked over, tilting his head.
"And what's that..?" He hummed.
"What's this little question you have pretty boy.""If you knew to kidnap me instead of someone else... does that means you've been spying on me for quite some time.. because I'm suspecting- 2-3 weeks or so.. since you most likely saw me go into a travers as that was my last time alone in public with my friend in the tavern... and you heard my conversation regarding my studies.. correct?" George wasn't stupid- he rarely leaves the comfort of his room.
"You were spying on me."The pirate soon perked up.. slowly turning too George.
"You've been waiting for the opportunity to be able to kidnap me to use my studies to help you find the treasure of that cursed cave... am I right?" George tilted his head to the side, he was trying to act tough... maybe it will show him he's not afraid-
"I may have a pretty face, but I am not an idiot." He moved himself onto the windowsill.
"And you won't find anything useful in that journal that you'll understand.. only I can read it."The pirate soon snapped the journal shut.
"Then I guess you'll have to tell me, or I'll just kill you." He said in a cocky tone.He knew the pirate couldn't kill him.. after all- the pirate does need him.
"Ooh.. what a bluff~" George learned forward, smirking.
"You know you can't kill me, you need me to help you." He tilted his head.
"You need me to decode the info in that journal.""Tsk, I don't need you." The pirate stood up, scoffing.
"I can figure it out on my own with this journal." He adjusted his mask."Good luck decoding it, it's a practically dead language that probably you won't even be able to understand for years." George knew it was only atlantian.. but- a little lying himself won't hurt- humans barely know the language.
"It would approximately take you about.. 5-6 months to even figure out the first letter... and you don't have that kind of time."The pirate captain firmly put the journal on his desk before storming towards George.
"You listen here.." he pointed to George."Listen to what? You threatening to hurt me?" George leaned forward.
"You can't do anything." He hummed softly, giggling. The pirate captain thought for a few moments.
"Actually... I can't- but I know how I can get this info out of you." He soon walked away, leaving the room.George felt his stomach drop... that's.. not good.. what is the pirate captain going to do?!
"Well..." he looked around... he is practically stupid-He only went to the academia because it was the easiest place to pretend to be something.. plus it's the only place that was offering somewhere to sleep.... And food-
