Never in my life would I be so intent to learn more about a roommate. She's weird, and I'm saying that as a total freak. I mostly want to learn more about the girl to see if she is the suspected monster roaming around Nevermore.
I've convinced myself that I'm the only normal in this school of misfits. A boarding school where they cut out your eyes and shave your heads when you misbehave would have been more appealing rather than this dump.
I'm practically in my own story now, with all the trying to find out who the monster even is. My money's on Xavier. He's even weirder than the average Nevermore student.
It's been almost half a semester and Enid never fails to make me want to chop my fingers off in a game of knife. She always insists on blasting pop music, which mostly consists of BTS and Blackpink. It wouldn't annoy me half as much if it weren't during my writing time.

I obnoxiously clicked the keys on my type-writer to make sure Enid would here it. She scrolled on TikTok while chewing bubblegum. Of course, her phone was on the max volume.
Crumbling another paper, I sighed. I wouldn't get anything done with the obnoxious hypnotizing of TikTok videos. But if I were to tell Enid to turn it down, she would simply pout and resolve a fight on how it's making her smarter.
Gambling my chances, I decided writing was better than being brainwashed by social media. "Will you turn that down before it runs your brain over?" I furrowed my eyebrows.
She roller her eyes, changing her position on her bed to an upside-down watching spree. "You've convinced me this time." She sighed, turning her volume down only by one.
I scrunched my face until the bridge of my nose hurt. "I hope you choke on your gum." I muttered, making sure every sound on my type-writer was even louder. It's so stupid how she could scroll endlessly on media and feel tired yet I write a whole chapter and feel energized.
I sighed, spinning the notch on my type-writer until I could pull the paper out. With a stern face, I packed all of my papers in an organized matter and tucked it under my desk. I couldn't take risks like leaving it out in the open.

After contemplating how to kill Enid while on my bed, I decided on a more pleasant manner of getting anger out.
"Thing." I muttered, grabbing my little pal violently as he tried to escape. He used to be a someone but now he's a lone hand who's a family mystery. He immediately freaked out, making signs of our made-up language.
Most of it resolved of, Let me go! And I'm your servant at choice, I can run away at any time! I scoffed, He acted like I was going to kill him. I wasn't exactly in the mood for stabbing, the only thing I would take a stab at the hour was my cello.
"Help me haul my cello out the window." Sure, Thing was such a tiny being, but he really had power in that one meek hand.
