[FIN / PART 1] - Bumblebee x Optimus Prime ( + Short Stories).

The Gift (part 2) // Mini #7

Bumblebee's POV:

It was a Saturday morning when I woke up. I could've sworn I missed an entire day because of sleep since I can't remember Friday. Regardless of this, I felt really refreshed, more than usual. I had a feeling it was because of Prime. I'd blush at the thought of his sweet smile... I don't deserve him, do I? He's too good, he's great at everything! He's strong, brave, sweet, intelligent, and in general, wholesome. He's charming. Handsome. Cute- uhh... I'm getting off track heh.

I'd shuffle in the birth, struggling to get out of the blankets when my door opens.

"Bee? Are you-" the mech would speak. He froze once he saw me mangled in the blankets.

||' "Oh hey," '|| I'd laugh, ||' "Good morning Optimus!" '||

Optimus would chuckle at my position. One leg in the air, the other hanging loosely off the birth, my arms trying to get unstuck from the tangled mess I put myself in. I'm embarrassing myself!

||' "I uhh... do you mind?" '|| I'd beep to him while wriggling around a bit.

"Of course, just stay still." He'd walk into the room holding a gentle smile.

He'd come over to me and I got a thought in my head. He believes he's helping me get out, and he is, but what if I throw a twist to it? Once he was leaning overtop of me to help get the blankets off, I gently but firmly kicked his right leg. This caused him to suddenly fall into a kneeling position. He had a shocked face and with good reason. I laughed and kissed him on the cheek.

We finally get to the main lobby with all the others. Everyone's busy with school projects, even Raph. I turned to Optimus and went to ask something but he spoke first.

"Would you like to go for a drive Bee since everyone else is busy today?"

I'd look at him for a bit and I'd occasionally glance back at the other bots but I smiled and nodded towards my Sparkmate. Optimus smiled and nodded after me then he moved towards Ratchet. He said something to Ratchet, Ratchet nodded and then he turned to me and gave a smile. Ratchet smiling? Now I've seen everything. Optimus came back over to me and said, "Shall we go?", all I did was nod without a care.

||' TIME SKIP '- 20 minutes. ||

We had been driving for a while now, I don't get how Optimus can go for this long without getting bored. I started playing music to entertain myself only 5 minutes into the drive. Once the music started to bore me I conned Raph, Raph and I have been talking ever since. It was near sundown now when Raph said he had to go home or his mum would worry her butt off, and great timing too because as I was logging off Optimus called me towards his direction.

"We're so close Bee, just up here..." he'd say as he trailed off from the main road onto a dirt field, completely offroad with not even a dirt track. He was making his own road.

Once we had got to the top, all I could see was Jasper, and since it was 2 days before Christmas, all the pretty lights were out! It made the view even more worth it! I didn't know whether it was safe to transform since Optimus hadn't but as soon as I was about to ask, he changed. He'd take a few soft steps on the ground and would hold a hand out and call to me, "Would you like to join me?" I nearly screamed "Who wouldn't?!" but I didn't. I kept my cool and said,

||' "Of course, I'd love to!." '|| as calmly as I could without making it look like I was freaking out!

The lights... it was too much for my optics to handle! The colour, the shine, the beauty that Jasper had this time of year. It was breathtaking- ...yunno, if I had breath to take.

I found myself mesmerized by the view. But without my notice, Optimus found himself mesmerized by something else. I caught him looking at me from the corner of my optic. With this, I'd chuckle and turn to him saying,

||' "You know, the view's to your right." '|| I'd tease.

"R-Right," he'd clear his throat. I'd never heard him stutter before. "Sorry it's just," he'd pause, "some views are better than others." he'd say glancing at me.

I will admit, this moment caught me off guard! I wasn't expecting him to flirt right then and there but I did like it so I'm not complaining too much. My face would flush a glowing blue.

||' "H-Hey!! Don't do that!" '|| 

He'd only giggle in response. He'd carefully sit on the edge and would tap to the side of him, gesturing for me to sit next to him. Once I sat down the breeze would softly hit me in the face. Cold, but soothing. I'd shuffle my aft a bit and would lay my head on the side of OP's torso and he would wrap his left arm around me, holding me close. I'd close my optics. This, this right here, was my Allspark, my 'heaven' as Humans would call it. As my optics held shut I could hear a voice calling out to me.

A cold, deep... raspy... no, no it can't be!..

I thought we got you out!

GET OUT!!
