I ploughed through the crowded corridors trying to reach my destination. ( half way across the school) That's when I saw them. I suddenly slowed from a speedy jog to a slow walk rudely staring at jake. His fluffy, tosseled, brown hair covered his forehead. We had been friends once but that was years ago....

FLASHBACK

Jakes had was holding me in a comforting hug.

" Marley you are like a sister to me "

" thanks jake " I spoke sarcastically

" my older sister that is "

My face turned into a humorous frown and went bright red. I started to run after him but then I accidentally tripped and fell flat on my face. ( Something i tried to avoid).Everybody started to laugh at me.

jake turned around and stared at me I started to climb to my feet.

JAKES POV

She looked so imbarassed. I saw tears starting to we'll up in her eyes. I don't like to see her cry she goes red and blotchy.

" SHUT UP . Marley are you ok?? "

" yeah. My my face is a little sore "

She started to cry. I placed my finger in the path of the wet tear before it could fall of her cheek bone. I feel that something isn't right between us. That there has always been more than just being friends.

I love her. I love her.

" Marley "

" yeah. Jake are you ok "

MARLEY POV

I stared into his blue eyes. His head lent down to my level. Suddenly he placed his went lips onto mine and we kissed each other. It was just I imagined. I cant express the emotions running through my body.

" Marley "

I looked up to see jakes face peering down to mine. I immediately shoved past him and ran back down the corridor ( complete opposite direction to my class). I sprinted through the school. I ran into the girls bathroom. Unable to contain my emotions, I burst out into a deep cry...
