Sasuke wisely did as Naruto advised him. He had raised his hand to throw the match when the invasion begin with the fall of feathers from the sky. Kurama disrupted his chakra immediately as Naruto had shared his senses with the fox ever since they reconciled. Jiraiya had panicked but Naruto assured the man that Kurama can be trusted.
Besides, Naruto couldn't bear having his brother in chakra behind bars for much longer as during his moments of reprieve, Kurama was his sole company and comfort. He had taken to sleeping against the fox to rest, assured that the Kyuubi will keep him safe no matter what.
Naruto looked to see Hiruzen once more trapped in the purple barrier. No matter, he could sense Tsunade with him. Jiraiya had decided to focus on the walls.
Naruto looked in the direction Gaara ran off to. He wanted to help Hiruzen but at the same time he knew he will need to focus on Gaara as Suna was Konoha's staunchest ally for upcoming events. Gaara have to be the Kazekage. Hopefully this time Hiruzen knew better than to use Shiki Fujin. Naruto already gave him that special seal used to seal the Zetsu army at the beginning of the Fourth Shinobi War. But the few seconds required to have it take hold would require extra help that's why as precaution he gave Hiruzen a special stasis tag.
It would immobilize the two Hokage just long enough for the seals to take hold.
With that he chased after Gaara. Sasuke, who had hung back, took noticed and immediately chased after him. Funny how he immediately went right behind his left side where his heart was. It was the position the other Sasuke had taken constantly to shield him from possible ambush. A shot through his head and through his heart was the only way to bring Naruto down by the second decade of their endless war for survival.
Gaara looked over at him, his eyes wide with naked fear.
When he was fighting Sasuke, Naruto had suppressed his chakra as much as he could. He had been practicing suppressing his chakra by mixing it with the nature chakra around him, masking his presence. By the time the Final arrived, he had managed to made it past for a generic Genin with nothing special about them. This has several effects to his surroundings.
Immediately the people around him relaxed as they no longer felt like they will be attacked. This meant that the villagers also returned to treating him as they usually would; ignore him. When his chakra was barely controlled, they had become tense and fearful. Although they didn't realize truly that it came from him, besides some spooked sensor Shinobi, they tended to avoid him more. He parted the crowd like Genbu part the ocean.
It hurt. He had lived longer being surrounded by welcoming people than being avoided. Sure he was avoided in his younger years but it slowly changed soon after he became Genin and proved himself.
Naruto cursed as Gaara, in his terror clouded mind, immediately released Shukaku. He didn't taunt them like before. His instinct mixed with Shukaku who feared Kaguya and the Juubi as it meant death for the Bijuu. And Naruto exuded a similar presence though not as oppressive as Kaguya's when she was released to the world from her prison.
Shukaku roared, "STAY AWAY!"
He opened his mouth and Naruto cursed, he quickly created clones and grabbed Sasuke. He also grabbed Kankuro and Temari who was nearby. They tried to fight back but Naruto dashed away from ground zero just as it exploded from the wind bullet that Shukaku spat. The Suna Tanuki then tried to squash him with his tail, roaring with clear terror in his voice, "STAY AWAY!!"
It doesn't seem like the raccoon will listen to him. He sighed and looked at Sasuke, "I'm sure I'll be suffering from severe chakra burn after this so I want you to guard me when it's over,"
