Chapter 2
*Harry's POV*
"C'mon boys! Faster! We're gonna get caught!" Louis screeched into my ear as we raced outside. We were in Vancouver, Canada, doing some interviews and promoting our second album.
"WE MADE IT!" Lou screamed as we burst out onto the street, nearly hitting a couple walking past the entrance.
"Sorry sir, ma'am!" I said to them, nodding politely before being pulled away by a very excited Louis.
"We're free! What shall we do?" Niall said happily.
We had been locked in a hotel room for about four hours today. Paul insisted because we were "going to cause trouble". Psssh nah! Not us... Anyways, we were all going crazy from being in the stuffy room, so we decided to sneak out; get some fresh air in this strange, new city.
"Let's just go for a small walk down the road, okay boys? We don't want to get lost in a city like this." Liam (a.k.a. Daddy Direction) said to us.
We all shrugged before starting to walk down the street. It was surprisingly empty, only a few people here and there, and not that many cars on the road. I thought Vancouver was a big city? It was pretty calm as well; with hardly any people, there was not much noise. It started to relax me as I fell into step with the other lads.
There was a light snowfall coming down too: big, fat chunks of white. It reminded me of down feathers, like from a duckling when it started growing new feathers. It was pretty. I sighed happily.
After about ten minutes of silent walking, Louis piped up.
"I'm bored. Let's do something!" I rolled my eyes. Louis had the attention span of a four year old; he gets bored so quickly.
"What shall we do?" Zayn said from my right.
"Hide and seek!" Lou replied.
"Let's go get something to eat!" Niall, the ever hungry Irishman, cut in.
"I'm quite hungry myself." Liam said "Where do you boys want to go?"
"Nando's?" NIall pleaded. I could see longing in his eyes, making me chuckle to myself.
The rest of us all nodded. Why not?
For about twenty minutes, we searched for a Nando's, coming up short in the end,
"No luck, I guess. Anywhere else in mind?" Zayn said, from my right.
"It looks like a storm's coming in. Should we head back?" Liam said worriedly.
"Quit worrying, Li. We'll be fine!" I said shuddering, dreading the thought of being in that horrid hotel room again.
All of a sudden a massive amount of snow started to fall from the sky. We were all shocked into silence. It literally came from nowhere!
"Told you so," Liam said after a few moments "now we're stuck here."
"Come on boys! We have to find shelter!" Zayn said.
We looked around in every direction. Every side was completely white. I couldn't even see my hands in front of me! A wind started to pick up, blowing our coats and hair around crazily and making it harder to see. I squinted against the prevailing winds; seeking out a car, a building, anything!
There was nothing. Nothing that I could see, anyways. I was starting to get scared. I mean, we had no idea where we were! And it was winter! What if we never found shelter!?! I started panicking at my internal thoughts.
Oh no. Ohnoohnoohno. OH. NO.
I was starting to give up hope of ever getting to my home. I didn't care if I was being dramatic. OHMYGOSH. My mum?! What will my mum think? And Paul? THE FANS?!?!
Crap. And double crap.
I was spinning around like a top now, looking in every direction, trying to find shelter, when I heard Niall off to my right say "LOOK! A light! I see a light!"
"NOOOO! DON'T GO TOWARDS THE LIGHT NIALLER! IT'S A BAD LIGHT!!! STAY WITH US, LITTLE BUDDY!" Louis screamed dramatically; always staying more positive than the rest of us, even in bad bad situations, like this one.
"Sorry Lou, we must get to the light though. Unless you like being in the middle of a Canadian snowstorm?" I said to my mate.
"Good point. Onwards, lads! To the light it is!"
We huddled together the best we could under the circumstances, and headed towards the distant lights.
