Subaru: we have to go save those kids!
Rem: wait! You can't make that decision on your own. With Roswaal-sama away from home... Y/N said it himself, that this might be a ruse to divert attention from the mansion
Subaru: what do we do, then? Ignore the kids who are in trouble right now, go back to the mansion, and tighten security? If you won't care when all the villagers are dead tomorrow, I guess that's an option

Y/N: look, if you want to go and warn Ram and Emilia that's fine. But I'm with Subaru on this, we need to save those kids
Rem: why go so far? Why should this village matter to you?
Subaru: when Petra grows up, she wants to make clothes in the capital. Lucas wants to succeed the village's best woodcutter. Mildo wants to make a crown from the flowers in the fields, and give it to his mother. Meina is going to have a baby sister soon. And the brothers, Dyne and Cain, are always fighting over who'll marry Petra.
Y/N: they're kid Rem, it isn't fair for there life to be frown away because we did nothing to help, when we could of saved them
Rem noticed that Subaru was shaking, but she found it odd that Y/N was way to calm about it
Subaru: and I did promise them we'd do raid calisthenics again tomorrow. I keep my promises, and I make sure others keep theirs. So I'm going in there
Y/N: and I can't leave this idiot to die
Rem contemplates whether or not to listen to them
Rem:... Very well. My orders were to keep an eye on you both
