To those who are still here. Yes it took a long time. No it doesn't affect its quality, if anything it makes it worse.

Start

Y/N is washing the dishes on his own. It's very early in the morning.

Y/N: *Humming Wii sports*

Rem: "What song are you humming?"

He's not the only early bird. Rem was also helping him by drying and putting it away.

Y/N: "An elegant theme for a more civilized age."

Rem: "What is it about?"

Y/N shrugged

Y/N: "Nothing. It's just catchy."

Rem: "Ah..."

With her question answered. The two continued in silence...

Before a thought creeped up in Y/N's head

Y/N:'Wait.... isn't Rem?'

Well Y/N did just sleep, so it's probably a dream. Best not to dwell on it...

It's a little weird though. Should probably get rid of her...

... or... not?

Why is she still there?

Rem: "Is something wrong, Y/N-kun?"

Y/N had been staring the whole time, squinting at Rem looking her up and down.

Y/N: "No. Just thinking..."

Okay something's off.

Y/N: "Hey Gowther! If you don't mind, could you come see this?"

Gowther appeared in the kitchen. If there was a sound, it would be a 'pop'

Gowther: "What's the problem-"

Gowther looked to Rem, tilting his head slightly.

Gowther: "How is she here?"

Y/N: "Not a clue, and I can't seem to get rid of her."

Gowther moved over to Rem. The girl was a little nervous when it happened.

Gowther: "Perhaps a remnant of my memories?"

Y/N was confused. Looking between Rem and Gowther.

Y/N: "I don't see why that would be. You don't really know her?"

Gowther paused for a bit, tilting his head towards Y/N.

Gowther: "I've known her for over a hundred years."

Rem's face turned pale when that was said. Then Y/N's mind slowly realized something, his eyes widening.

Y/N: "Hey.... Gowther? Who exactly are you seeing right now?"

He didn't know how he came to this. Especially since he didn't know this was possible. Gowther looking ever so slightly wistful.

Gowther: "Glariza."
