I am Pearl Vivianne Tshwete, I am 33 year old and was qualified nurse at a Private Hospital in Rosebank, Johannesburg North.

It all changed as I met him, the nightmare and beautiful dream / worst mistake of my life thing of a husband I have.

I met him at the hospital years back, as I narrate the story.

NINE YEARS BACK...

I was a 24 year old nurse, it had been six months since I had started at the private hospital and it was my first time working in a private hospital because at that time I came from a public hospital in Soweto which is Chris Hani Baragwanath. I also worked as a clinic nurse but also a public in Soweto too, which it was Michelle Maponya Clinic and yeah I enjoyed it there but the other nurses were just a huge pain in the arse .

One night during my night shift, I was helping my fellow Nurse friend with the reception, she was Nurse Shanice Adams and she was from Coronation Park in the Ekhuruleni region.
When all of a sudden a group of men came in hurriedly as they were carrying a vastly bleeding teenage boy who looked more on his mid-late teens .

Me, Nurse Shanice and another fellow nurse by the name, Nurse Masingita Mlambo, we rushed over to these men and Masingita managed to get a stretcher as fast as possible and put him on it. Two other doctors that were at Casualty with us rushed over and convinced the men to stay behind while they rushed to the available surgical ward ( operating room) near Casualty.

I stayed behind, to reassure the man who had taken off his stylishly designed all black tuxedo blazer jacket and had his formally crisp white shirt now stained with the blood of the teenage boy on full display.
I managed to sit down the three grown men and got them water to drink to calm them down, I successfully gave the other two water and they accepted it, but when I went to the older brother he was plane ride but I just thought that maybe it's because he's in the situation his in, he's not feeling okay so I crouch to get to his current height from sitting down.

"Evening sir, I'm Nurse Tshwete and I'm one of the nurses whose assisting with the young boy's case." – Pearl.
I said.

"Okay, is he going to be alright?"– Man.
He breathed in and out heavily.

"I'm not sure but all in now that our doctors, Dr Martin and Dr Pryshan are doing their very best to keep him alive but I personally noticed that it is a gunshot wound, if you're comfortable can you please explain to me what had happe- "– Pearl

He interrupted my question by shutting me out rudely.

"Lady look, it's none of your business about happened to him so back off before I lose my cool enough."– Man.

I frowned, but quickly turned into a rude person myself.

"First things first, it's not Lady it's Nurse Tshwete to you. What I'm doing here is my nurse duty to know what had happened for that young boy to end up in this hospital with a gunshot wound. I suspect that you're hiding something from me and by so I am calling the police as we the hospital have every right to report this matter to them."– Pearl

I think I left him dumbstruck, because he then asked me where were the nearest restrooms.

I directed him and went on to do other hospital nurse duties like checking up on some other patients and getting them to take their meds and go for their bedtime.

Time went by as it was getting closer to my lunch break, I was about to enter the the stuff kitchen when I bumped into the sweaty Nurse Shanice.

"Hey, I've been looking for you everywhere Pearl." – Shanice

She sounded like she was running out of air to breathe.

"Oh really, is there something wrong?" – Pearl
