ryan was leaning against his window sill, staring down at his boyfriend who was a story below him. the wind blew into his room and blew back the few front hairs that weren't long enough to fit into a neat ponytail. the desk beside him was cluttered with books and papers that were scribbled onto.

"ryan, c'mon! you promised!" min-gi yelled from ryan's backyard. he was holding a woven picnic basket with foods he picked himself just for this date.

"but that was before i knew i had a thousand tests next week," ryan frowned. he obviously wanted to hang out with him but he finally wanted to do good during school and that was so hard when min-gi was so cute.

"i'll help you study!" min said. he was proud that ryan was finally putting in the work instead of slacking off like he used to, but it's been two weeks since their last date. he missed him. this was just a special occasion. after today, min is going to let ryan study to his heart's content. "can't let these cupcakes go to waste." he lifted up the picnic basket, shaking it gently.

"god. you're the worst," ryan said, lovingly. min grinned. he's got him. ryan closed all the books that were open on the desk. "let me get ready, first." and he went up to his closet to grab the most basic things in there.

the day was windier than the two had originally thought. ryan's long hair would flow behind him as he ran across their college campus to try and grab min's picnic basket. min was laughing from their blanket that they set up.

"not. funny," ryan said as he came back with the basket in his arms.

"just a little bit funny," min grinned. he pulled his boyfriend down by his shirt for a kiss. ryan immediately sank in, already forgetting about the tinge of hatefulness towards min. he hates him.

"okok i really gotta study now," ryan pulled away. but then min grabbed his shirt again for another kiss. ryan was caught off guard this time. he lost his balance and fell on min's chest, breaking off the kiss in the process.
