"She is not acting like David Star. Cali has been family for several years. Yes she is acting like a bitch. But that is just Cali. She is protective of us and we are protective of her." Michael explained finally breaking our staring.
"Ok everyone I am done with the foul language. You all know better." Lucy scolded us. I rolled my eyes a little jokingly. I forgot there was no swearing around Lucy.
"Yes mom." I said sarcastically, as I pulled Sam into a headlock and started messing up his hair. A genuine smile appeared on my face as Sam started freaking out trying to use his new strength to break out of my hold but I kept it there.
"Cali... Cali stop not the hair. Why is it always the hair with you! Stop it please!!!" Sam said whining and trying to get out of my grasp. Lucy let out a laugh while Michael moved star to another room to have a conversation. Oops trouble in paradise because of me? Couldn't be. I thought sarcastically.
"Okay okay," I let Sam go and when he turned around to look at me and pout I started laughing "your hair looks ridiculous!" I couldn't stop laughing and Lucy stood to the side and tried to hide her laughter. Sam looked at us laughing and couldn't help but laugh with us. That was the final straw because suddenly Lucy started laughing louder.

"Ahem." A man cleared his throat, and everyone started calming down. Was the first to look up and saw Max standing there. My bright demeanor turned into a scowl. I rushed forward and grabbed Max by the throat.
"What are you doing here Maxie? I thought you died finally?" I said with a taunting tone. Max turned it around and pinned me to the wall.
"Funny I could say the same about you. Laddie was awfully sad when you didn't come back after a while." He said in a smug tone. I didn't realize that my face morphed into my siren side as well as my claws come out as well.

I let out a low growl before pinning again this time my claws which I didn't know came out dug into his neck light. "You don't deserve to speak his name." I snarled at him. Thorne quickly jumped up and pushed me off of Max while growling
