[Cont. of Chapter 2]
(Sonic1 gets 'settled' in to his new life here, and he hates it. Sure, he likes being able to run outside for ages, its a good way to let off steam, but Amy, Knux and Tails? Well... Has his issues with them.
Amy could've easily been a manager of a middle class badnik fleet, Tails could've been an engineer, helping Dr Robotnik create elegant yet deadly badniks, And Knuckles... Well... Knuckles is a tough guy with fists of steel. He could be on the front lines of the Badniks. Yeesh, Sonic pitys all of them, mostly himself though because he has to deal with this stuff. Plus he likes to tick the sonic team off, Partly because hes a Sadist but also cause he thinks its funny.... Which is like the same thing as being a sadist...
Whenever the town is in destress from Eggman, Sonic runs off, making sure he isn't batting his other reality dad. Though he makes sure that he keeps an eye on team sonic, to see their battle styles. He does Envy being in battle however, he would love doing the adventures... preferably not with the sonic team, but still. The issue is ALL the adventures and battles are against Eggman or something Eggman related. So he does his own little adventures when he runs away from Eggman Battles. Sonic likes to run through the woods and find abandoned structures, cause back home he never really leaves the Robotnik labs. He investigates the structures and then he makes little friends out of rocks and scratches little faces on them with bark and he runs around the structures with his little rocks and talks to them like they're his... friends. Sonic, after realising what he's doing, puts the rocks down and speeds off somewhere else.
Its been a couple of weeks with the sonic team, recording their talks, belittling the pink, red and yellow trio, watching their battles and accidentally starting a maidens tale about the ghost that leaves smiling pebbles in abandoned structures - It did end up being helpful to Sonic, because it meant that most of the structures where left alone, and if they weren't... Sonic was pretty good at scaring anyone who was there -. Sonic was however getting tired off team sonic, and team sonic was getting tired of him.)
Sonic was just about to run off into the woods after the signal that Eggman was on his way when- "Sonic! We need to talk." demands Tails blocking to doorway. "Uhhh Tails? I need to go do something! Its uhh Urgent." Sonic says, trying his best to be convincing. Tails moves away from the door only for Amy and Knuckles walk through. "Sonic. This talk is urgent." Knuckles mimics what Sonic said, and Amy nods her head. "Your always missing from our battles! Its been weeks since you battled Eggman!" Amy squeeks at Sonic, Sonic backs away from the trio, Knuckles follows up Amy. "Sonic, we've nearly lost to Eggman. Imagine what would happen to this town! We need you." While Knuckles is saying this, Tails flies behind Sonic, placing a chair behind him. Sonic continues walking back untill he hits the chair and sits down. "Guys... C'mon it hasn't been that many battles! And you always beat da- Eggman!! Why the sudden confrontation?" Sonic trys to plead, the trio isnt having it. "No, Sonic. It has been that many battles. and you constantly belittle us! We've had enough." Tails says while flying back to join the trio. "Sonic... What happened to you? Ever since that incident when you got knocked out... you've been different. All we want is our old Sonic back." Amy is probably the softest in the group... weakest, Sonic gets carried away on how he could crush her right this second- he snaps back to the conversation. "And you have been disrupting towns, causing worry. We know your the 'Abandoned Stone Ghost'." Knuckles adds on to Amy. "Oh and you bully me a lot! You never used to do tha-" Sonic cuts Tails off. "You know what? You really want the Truth? You really want to know where 'Your Sonic' has been for the past couple of weeks?" Sonic stands up from the chair and kicks it away, then slowly approaches the trio "He's been in another dimension, getting his ass kicked by my dad... Dr Robotnik." Small gasps are heard and Sonic continues "You know.. Its really inpressive and shows how *great* friends you are that you didnt even notice he was gone... i mean.. We're completely different shades of fucking blue! And you wonder why i treat you badly huh? it's because i fucking hate all of you. Amy? You're such a lovesick bitch you'll do 'anything for my sonic🥺'. You have such potential but you waist it on one sided love! Yeah i read the history between you and your Sonic and not even he likes you. Oh and Tails... Tails you are the most annoying fuck i have ever met. You keep on blabbing your mouth of when no one is listening! No one asked about your little inventions Tails. No wonder why your family disowned you, not only are you an annoying piece of shit but your also a freak of nature." Sonic has reached a close enough distance that the trio start walking back "And Knuckles. You know, When your Sonic first met you? You were cool. You were on the right side. But you've grown thick, these neon forest freaks have poisoned your mind."
Knuckles stops walking backwards and gets into a fighting pose, Tails and Amy notice this and do the same. "Oh... And by the way... If you want to save your Sonic.. well you cant beat me up." Knuckles yells "WELL WHY NOT? I COULD BEAT YOU INTO SMUSH RIGHT NOW BUDDY." Sonic scoffes at Knuckles, causing his anger to rise. "If you lay a single scratch on me, Ill tell my dad to KILL your precious Sonic. Leaving you with out him, even ~more~ battles without your speed demon." Tails Makes eye contact with Knuckles, and subtlety nods, Knuckles puts his fists down. "Hah, Someone finally came to their senses" Sonic says, cynically smiling at the once whole team sonic.
