(woah 6 chapters?, know ch5 was a bit short but chapter 4 was long af sooo)
[Reality 1]
(Over the past couple of weeks, Robotnik has been monitoring Sonic2 while hes been suspended unconscious, while also keeping tabs on the rebellion.)
Robotnik paces around the portal machine, preparing it to open a portal supposedly to his son. Worries fill his mind, about his son, about Sonic2, about the Rebels... Lately he's been noticing that his moustache has been getting grey hairs. Robotnik sighs, attempting to clear his head. He opens the portal.
"HI-YAHH!!" Team Sonic jumps out of the portal. Tails kicks Robotnik, and Amy slams her Piko hammer on his head, Knuckles goes to find Sonic. Knuckles walks through the labs, kicking anything in his way put of pure rage. He turns a corner and sees Sonic suspended in a see-through prison. Knuckles runs as fast as he can and using that momentum he jumps fist first into the glass, shattering it. Knuckles cracks his... knuckles and starts punching the magnets in the little remains of the prison. One by one Sonic's limbs drop from the magnets clutches, and after destroying the last magnet, Knuckles sprints to beneath Sonic to catch him just before he hits the floor. Sonic wakes up groggily, with no energy, he looks up to Knuckles who is holding him bridal style. "Knuckles." Sonic sweetly smiles, which makes Knuckles smile at him in return before quickly running back to the battle, Sonic closes his eyes and falls back to sleep, knowing he's in safe hands, or should i say, gloves. Amy, who normally is relatively sweet, is taking her rage out and is beating the egg out of Robotnik to the tune of "I WILL FUCKING END YOU, YOU TOOK AWAY MY SONIC!!! ILL RIP OUT YOUR FUCKING THROAT AND WEAR IT AS A NECK TIE!!!" Tails, didn't know Amy knew how to swear, and saw that she didn't need help beating up Robotnik, he slinks back to the portal machine. Knuckles, holding Sonic, enters the room and makes eye contact with Amy. Amy drops her Piko hammer and, like nothing happened, happily skips over to the red and blue duo. Amy inspects Sonic, and gives him a small kiss on the forehead, then skips back to beating Robotnik. Knuckles stands in utter horror, shock and astonishment at Amy and her hammer, he looks over to Tails who seems to be half hiding from Amy's rage and geeking out at the portal machine. Tails, who is definitely doing both, is trying to see how he can keep the portal to his reality open, and seeing what else it can do, totally not distracted. Knuckles places Sonic down on the ground, very carefully, and inspects Sonic's cuffs. He notices that theres needles and, because he was very well packed, starts to carefully remove the cuffs from Sonic, Odd coming from the rough house Echidna. Tails, after practically destructing and restructuring the portal machine, figured out how to keep the portal open. He flies into the portal to push Sonic1 and the booby-trapped chair through and signals to Knuckles and Amy to start to rap up. Knuckles finishes up on Sonic's2 Cuffs and raps up his tools, he bridal carries Sonic once again and heads to the portal, not before spitting on Sonic1. Tails carefully flies over to Amy, still squishing Robotnik with her hammer, and taps her on her shoulder. Amy turns around, still very pissed, Tails silently apologises and writes a note telling Amy how to close the portal when shes done, he then goes back into the portal. Amy eventually returns to her reality, closing the portal behind her and dusting off her gloves, grinning.
Knuckles has laid Sonic down on his bed, bandaging his wrists and ankles. Amy and Tails look on eagerly. Sonic opens his eyes, with some, very little, but some energy in him. "Hey... guys." "SONIC!!!!" Amy screams and she goes in for a tackle hug but Knuckles holds her back with a look of disapproval, he looks back at Sonic "Welcome back, Sonic." Tails aggressively waves his hands with glee. Sonic smiles, glad to be back with his friends once again. Team Sonic is truly whole.
