A Night at the inn

The first thing we see was a sign that saids 'mountain passage' as the camera zooms out revealing that the passage was still cover in thick ice wall with an enormous centipede trapped inside.

I told you so (chuckle) but seriously it still gonna be a few weeks before the snowpack melts "Ugh but for how long though? Me and Anne have been waited here for weeks! We've waited for so long. And getting out of this valley might help us find answers on how to get home David said I know it stinks, but how about some careless misadventuring to take your mind off it?" Sprig suggested to him and Anne. "I think there's a creepy lagoon nearby" Ooh! Think we'll find some bloated remains? Anne said, disturbingly excited to see dead things "Here's hoping," Sprig said, before he and Anne ran off giggling.

(Sigh) those two David said before feeling his being tugged, he looks down and saw Polly smiling at him. Hey David, while they're doing that let's go to the scary forest Polly she said pointing at the sigh that said "slaughter forest". Uh, no thanks I'm good David said eh, suit yourself. More fun for me *Just when she was about to head over there but was stopped when hop pop grabbed her and pull back into the snail*. Oh, no you don't. Not by yourself Hop pop said placing her on the seat next to him. (Groaning) but why not? Polly groaned "Cause you're a pollywog. You're too young to go off on your own" but the other kids did *suddenly a loud screeching was heard from the direction where Sprig and Anne went*. GO GO GO GO! They said as they quickly hop onto wagon then Hop pop tells Bessie to move as they drove away.

Anne what the hell happened back there? David asked Oh, man, you would not believe what we saw! Anne exclaimed, throwing her arms up with a big smile on her face, despite the danger she was in. "Did you know leeches could run so fast?" Or had legs? Sprig added, throwing his arms up with a big smile on his face. Glad I got to see them, though, Anne said sliding into her seat. Why? That sounded horrifying David said True. Sprig nodded "but it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience".

The pollywog was frustrated when the others practically bragged about the awesome adventure they had by themselves. However, as they continued down the road, but the Columbian boy noticed something was off about it. The landmarks didn't look familiar to him, and it was then that he realized that they weren't going down the same road they took to get to the pass. Uh...Hop pop you do know where you're going, right? He asked concerning. Of course I know where I'm going, I've been taking these roads for years!-- *suddenly, the group found themselves tossed and turned as Bessie suddenly yelped in pain and skidded across the road. Luckily she came to a stop just before they drove off the road. The giant snail sputtered, and her eyes drooped down as she started whimpering in pain*.

Bessie, what's wrong girl? David said as he hops off of her shell and check up on her, stroking her neck, soothing her to calm down. Oh, shoot. Snail trouble, everyone. Snail trouble Hop Pop said looking at his snail with a worried expression. Hmm. Stranded, eh? Well, couldn't have picked a nicer day Sprig said until suddenly a huge amount of water came crashing down on Anne, David and the planters. Plunging them straight into the middle of a violent thunderstorm. Completely soaked and being rained on, everyone glared at Sprig "you just had to jinx us Sprig" David said in a flat tone.

Sprig, Anne, and Hop pop jumped down to the ground to see what was wrong with the snail. David grabbed the bottom of the shell and tried to lift it up. However, the rain was making it difficult for him to get a grip, and the water was making her mucus much more slippery. Gah! *David drops the shell back down* (Annoying grunt) It's too muddy for me to get under Bessie *he looked around for something to help him. But he felt as though he was just wasting his time. There was nothing around to help him, and all he was getting himself wet in the pouring rain. However, he then looked up at Polly and smiled* Polly, get down here and get under Bessie David said to her. I'm on it! Polly exclaimed and was about to jump down but was stopped when Hop pop grabbed her. David! That's irresponsible of you to ask Polly to do that he said scolding him. Now Polly, you stay up there where it's safe. *Polly huffed in annoyance. Though, David was just as if not more annoyed than her. He stood up and looked down at the old frog* "Well, if you've got any other ideas on how to get out of this rain, I'd love to hear it?"
