It's been a week since the plantars lost their stand but they still have money left in their savings as we now see the plantars are shopping at the grab & go to get ingredients.

Hop pop was pushing bug like cart. Oh! Pill bugs are on sale Hop pop said great! We can have them with the meat from that giant chicken I hunted down and killed, humanely David said all I need is to find the right seasoning for the chicken "ooh! I'll come with you. I'm gonna go grab some of that beetle jerky I like" anne said she pause for a moment, as David looks at her with a raised eyebrow "Can't believe I just said that" okay, kids, see you outside hop pop said before the duo walked off, he then threw all the pill bugs into the cart.

You know, you're really stepping up as the chef of the house huh David?" Anne commented yeah well somebody has too david reply bashfully as he looked at some of the spices on sale "especially with how Hop pop cooks. We can't just always eat bugs, so I'm trying to learn how to cook other foods. I wonder if I can make Arepas in this world?" He said oh score! *He grabbed a single bag of beetle jerky from the shelf. The only one that was on the shelf* here you go, Anne, the last-- *suddenly a tongue stretches out and grabbed the bag out of his hand. The two teens looked at the frog as he pulled his tongue back and grabbed the jerky with his hand, revealing it was wally who grabbed it*.

Hey what the hell! That was totally ours wally! David said Ya snooze, ya lose, scarecrows, he said before guffawing and hopping away. Hey! Don't call me scarecrow Anne said shaking her fist in the air. But then she was hit in the back of her legs, the two looked and saw Mrs. croaker that rammed into her "Hey! Move your big behind, scarecrow. Croaker needs her cookies" she said repeatedly ramming Anne with her cart. You know you can just go around her Mrs. Croaker geez David said as he grabbed Anne's arm and pulled her along "come on, let's just go" he added wanting to leave the store and go home, even after all this time that they spent in the village and being around the frogs of wartwood.

My behind's not big. I'm big. Technically, it's to scale Anne grumbled to herself "don't let them get to you Anne" David said trying to calm her down, however he didn't notice the water on the floor in front of him. As he stepped on it and slipped and fall down onto the ground.

Hey! Didn't you see the sign, scarecrow? The teenage frog said pointing at the wet floor sign near him. Classic, clumsy scarecrow Felicia said laughing as the villagers inside the store joined in and laughed at David. He flushed red with embarrassment, grumbling in annoyance and not letting them get to him. Anne on the other hand, looked quite embarrassed as she helped David on his feet, she then pulled him along and the duo walked out of the store. 

David and Anne walked over to Bessie where the plantars were waiting for them. When sprig saw them walking to them he greets them "So did you get the beetle jerky you--" no David simply answered before grabbing his shield from the side of Bessie's saddle. Hey, what's wrong? Sprig asked seeing the frown on their faces as Anne sigh sadly "Well, it's just...We've been here over a month now, and the townspeople still treat me and David crummy. I just wish they were a little nicer" Oh, that's just the way these frogs are Hop pop explained to the teens "Slow to accept, and even slower to respect. It's actually our town motto *he points over the stone arch gate of the town, which had a wooden sign with the motto edged into it* You'll find a way to get their respect, in your own weird Anne and David way. Now, who wants pill bug pancakes?" Aww yeah! "my favorite!" Anne exclaimed as she and David high-fived each other with big grins. But then the two of you stopped grinning and looked a little disturbed "we been here to long" David said.

Hooked up the cart of fruit and vegetables on the back of Bessie before walking over to the side of the snail. David lifts Anne up as sprig pulls her up the shell then the thai-american girl offered her hand to David, which he accepted before she pulls him up. The two sat together as hop pop drove Bessie through town square, as they started making their way back to the farm, they passed by a rather bizarre statue of mayor toadstool which depicted him kissing a tadpole who was being held by a young frog kid.
