27th November 1988
After many hours of screaming and pain, the Princess of Wales delivered a healthy baby girl. The baby girl definitely had a pair of healthy lungs as she wailed loudly as she was taken out of the safety of her mother's womb into the cold, harsh world.
Diana had her arms out for the nurse to gently put the bloody baby into her arms. The baby looked around curiously with her big baby blue eyes staring around her new surroundings used to the pitch black in the womb.
As they cleaned the baby, Diana's two eldest sons William 6 and Harry 4 with their father the prince of Wales made their way to Diana's room and bursting with excitement each took their father's hand and dragged him.
"Slow down boys" Charles exclaimed but buzzing with excitement Charles' warning went over the heads as they were filled with enthusiasm at the prospect of getting a new sibling.
"Mummy" the boys yelled as they ran towards their mother.
"Hello, my darling boys" Diana smiled and had her arms open for the boys and engulfed them into her arms.
"Mummy where is the baby" Harry looked around for the new sibling that he had waited for, for nearly 9 months. As Harry made this statement, a nurse holding the small infant brought her and handed the baby to the prince.
"Congratulation, your royal highnesses, the princess of Wales delivered a healthy baby girl" Charles brought the small infant close to his face and stared in entranced at her. She was all he ever wanted, a beautiful little girl.
"Papa, can we see her" Harry and William went to stand by their father as their baby sister looked up at them in curiosity.
"She's very beautiful" William said absentmindedly. Harry nodded to show agreement at William's statement.
"My little love" Charles rubbed at his nose against hers and smiled at Diana in a sign of gratitude at the bundle of joy that was in his arms.
"What is her name?" Harry looked from his father to his mother. Charles looked at Diana and she responded, " Her name is Elizabeth,"It was no surprise to Charles that she named her Elizabeth because of her love for the Queen.
28th November 1988
Diana, Charles and baby Elizabeth left the hospital to be greeted by the many members of the Public and paparazzi who desperately wanted to take a glimpse of the new addition of the family.
"Lady Di! Lady Di! Over here" someone from the paparazzi yelled for the attention of the Princess who protectively held Elizabeth closer to her chest.
