They sat next to each other once more. One person's breathing was rapid, while the other was contemptuous. Ian was rubbing the back of his neck, his arm muscles moved each time he rubbed up and down.

Y/n was screaming, punching herself in her head by how awkward this was. She practically begged him to stay and now she's thinking sanely, she realizes how bare he is.

Lord help me...for I am in no state of mind to carelessly bore my own eyes up and down his defined body...

Her eyes shot a glimpse at his bicep flexing a bit harshly each time he moved his arm.

"So are you gonna tell me, why you are like this?"

Sucking in her lips and averting her eyes as soon as he shifted his arm down to lean on it.

"I was working today at the beach bar with Taj and...Diana. A worker there that hardly ever does anything. So it's just Taj and I doing most of the work." She fixes her hair which looked like a mess and slid a strand behind her ear. "The day started off good nothing more then making and serving drinks, it wasn't until the owners came by to check in."

The girl closes her eyes to remember the incident that happened just hours ago.

Mr. Owen and his wife sat down on the beach chairs close by the shore. Few others were near but separated wanting space. Taj was at the cashier while I was over giving a women and her boyfriend two drinks. As I was finishing up an elderly women called over to me. "Miss could you bring me a napkin, I spilt my drink and I asked the other young lady here but I never got it." The women looked so beautiful with her silver hair in a braid with a sunny flop hat. How could Diana not take care of her? She's a customer! "Of course ma'am I'll get it right away." I gave her the napkin and left.

Diana was a couple seats ahead of me talking and flashing herself to a young man. He had black waved hair and skin as tan as Ian's but more lighter. His smile was one to bring women to their knees. What got me was that Diana was completely ignoring a women and her four kids behind her.

It Makes me sick at how ugly her personality is.
I took it upon myself to walk over to the women and her kids. "Hello Miss what can I help you with?" I purposefully moved behind Diana just so this women wouldn't see her. Though as I did so Diana stood up and shoved me to the side. "Hey I'm taking care of this customer here filth." My blood boiled from just being near her. "Really? Couldn't tell when you're gawking at this gentleman right here and ignoring this fine lady."

The male looked at me and grinned with his green eyes finding this situation funny. "Look Y/n I can do whatever I want! Just because you live in Mr. Owens coffee shop doesn't mean you can boss me or Taj around whenever you feel like it!"

"At what point do I boss you two? Clearly you don't know me." Crossing my arms I turn around to look at the women "I apologize for the disturbance ma'am, I'll make sure to get your drinks free of charge." The women waved her hands and thanked me for being so kind. I turned on my heel and began walking. "I do know you, Since your parents left you to rot all alone on the streets to die is pitiful." I could feel the smirk on her face when I turned my head dangerously slowly. Shooting a death glare "What did you say?"

"Oh yeah everyone in town knows about you. Little Miss L/n, an orphan lives on what she can find. Here to save herself when she couldn't save her sis-" A tray flew at Diana's face but barley missed.
Landing on the sand Y/n stood up to then pin Diana down to the ground. Her face completely mortified. "YOU listen here you good for nothing heartless dog. The next time I ever hear you talk about my family again I'll make sure you won't have a pretty face anymore!" She clenched Diana's shirt tightly shaking angrily. Then she shouted with tears welling up.
