I like the bad boy.
-What did I do?-
Chapter one;
~~~
I wake up and stretch my long legs, but short body around on my bed. I groan and make a loud noise, my tank top rising up and showing my tannish stomach. I look at the time. 7:00.
"Shit, I'm late!" I jump up and run to my closet. Why didn't Shane wake me up?! Ugh! I curse under my breath at my cousin as I grab a t-shirt that says 'Normal people scare me' and skinny jeans. I throw on my grey hoodie that says 'Harper' on the back. Reminding me that I was on the Volleyball team.
I slide on my silver cross necklace and put it under my cloths. I put on my high top black and white converses and grab my book bag, putting my phone in my back pocket. I run down the stairs, skipping two at a time. Thank god I was born with athletic ability.
I run out the door and jump in my car.
Within five minutes, I finally arrive at school. I park my silver Toyota and run into the school, which the whole outside area was empty.
I rushed through and right away, I heard my name being called out. I froze and pursed my lips together, closing my eyes in a sigh. I slowly turned to see principle Hardy standing at his office. "Jasper Harper. Care to explain why your late...... again?"
I put on a fake smile and shrugged, innocently. "Well you see, Mr. Hardy, my cousin, Shane, didn't mind telling me to wake up this morning. So I over slept and had to rush here to get to school on time." He rolled his eyes and handed me a slip of paper. "Detention." I grunted a grabbed the paper. "You couldn't spare me once?"
"I have, Harper." With that, he walked into his office and slammed the door. "Dick cheese." I mumbled under my breath. I turned and started walking to my locker. Once I was there, had my stuff, and was ready, I slammed it shut and started walking to my class.
I turned a corner and my shoulder slammed right into someone else's. It hurt, so I was guessing it was a guy. And that they meant to shove me. I spun my head and put my eyebrows into one. "Hey!" I yelled. I was about to say more, but when I saw who it was, I decided against it. His brown hair pointing upwards, yet still a mess on his head. High cheek bones and tannish skin. Bright blue eyes.
"Woah, sorry, I-I didn't realise-"
"That it was me?" He spoke harshly, and made me wonder what I did to him. "Yea, didn't know it was you either." He shrugged. "Watch where your going, bitch." Did he just call me a bitch? What the actual fuck? I hadn't done anything to him.
I took a step forward to say more, but then saw he was gone. I scoffed and turned on my heel. Dick licker. Gosh, what is wrong with people these days? I finished my way to my classroom.
"Mrs. Harper, would you like to explain to the class why you were late again?" Mrs. Sandy asks, crossing her arms over her chest. I did the same and looked around the room at Shane. "How about my cousin explain?" I mocked. Shane covered his mouth to hold back a laugh. Mrs. Sandy sighed and shook her head.
"Just sit down, Harper." She said. I smile victoriously and went to sit beside Rachel, one of my best friends. "So, late again, Jasper?" She taunted, as she put a file to her nails. I rolled my eyes. "Yea. Blame your idiotic boyfriend for that one. Shane need gets me up anymore. And an alarm doesn't help."
Shane and Rachel have been on and off for months now. Mainly because they both go off and have sex with other people, then when they get hurt, come running back to each other. I guess it's like a routine or something. I don't know, I try not to get in the middle of it.
