Chapter four;
~~~
It's been two months since me and Alex got back together. It's spread widely across the school and Rachel adores us. Marisa still hooks up with Aaron all the time. And same a with Rachel to Shane. Aaron is a jerk. We finished the project one night. But what happened, I don't want to speak about ever again.
We pulled up Into his driveway. A large house escaping from the trees around it. Bright white and some light blue. He parks the car and gets out, as I do the same. Im in awe at the sight and large house right before me. He walks up to it like its no big deal and opened the door.
I walked in and it was just as you could imagine it to be. Large, amazing, beautiful, neat and perfect furniture. "Wow..... this is your house?" I asked. He shut the door and nodded. "Yep. Got a problem with it?"
"No but I have a problem with you.." I mumbled. But I must have not said it quiet enough. He raised an eyebrow into his forehead. "What'd you say Hazel?"
"Nothing."
"That's what I thought. Now, come on, we'll go in my room a work on it. The quicker, the better we can get this stupid shit done."
He didn't even let me speak before walking off. I jogged after him. His room was one word.
Messy.
I could hardly see his floor. But it smelt like him. His vanilla cologne. He slumped down on his bed, moving away a bra into his closet. I looked at him and raised my eyebrows. He rolled his eyes. "Don't worry, it's not mine." I couldn't help but laugh a little bit.
I walked around his messy room, looking at stuff, and he pulled out a book from under his bed. "I only have one book, so we'll have to share."
I walked to one side of his room where trophies stood all over the wall. They were on shelves from the top to bottom, and metals hung by nails. I could read that most of them were basketball and football. I then came up to a wall where a picture of two little boys and a mom and dad stood.
The two boys were on the ground, looking at the camera. With their parents behind them. Both boys had brown hair. High cheekbones, and blue blue eyes. But their was one thing that I could extinguish them as two different people.
One of the little boys, didn't have a hand.
I immediately knew one as Aaron. the other, I had never seen. They looked around age 12."Is this your family?" I asked, pointing to it. His hand shot out and he grabbed the picture off the wall. I looked at him and he was nervous. Never like I had seen him before. He was always so mean looking and in control. Now he looked like a completely different person.
"Why were you looking at that?" He quickly said, harshly. Bringing out his old face. "I-I was just-" he slammed my shoulder to the wall, keeping his hand there. I opened my mouth to yell at him, but he brought his hand to my mouth. "Never mind now. My parents are home." He whispered, moving his face close to mine.
I listened and heard the front door close. Then some shuffling of feet. I gulped and Aaron looked at me, his eyebrows into one. "Don't say a word. As long as the don't honk I'm here, they won't come in my room." I nodded.
We waited for a while until we heard them go Into another room. Aaron looked back at me a minute before realising me. I gasped a little for breath. He stepped back and opened the door. "We'll finish the project tomorrow at school. But right now, you need to leave."
