Chapter twenty two;

I hate him! I fucking hate him! He's an asshole and he knows it. Especially After what he did to me.
Your probably wondering who I hate. And why I'm pissed. Well, let me just say this. It's not Matt.
And it's a long story.

I woke up the morning from our date in my room. Aaron drove me home and then drove to his own. It was a little awkward last night, but we started talking and got over it.
I walk over to my closet and get dressed in skinny jeans and a t-shirt that says 'Normal people scare me.' On it. And the theme is American Horror Story.
I slip on my converses and do everything else I need to do before rushing out the door, along with Shane.
We started driving to school and I wanted to ask something that had been on my mind a while. "So how's you and Rachel?" I asked. He scratched the back of his neck. "I don't know exactly. Shes been hanging out with that kid.... um... what's his name?"
"Uh.... Eric? From the lake?" I asked. He pointed a finger up. "Yeah, yeah, him! But when I ask her about him all she says is, 'We are just friends Shane. Stop overreacting'." he said, trying to mimic Rachel. "Maybe you should talk to Eric."
He shook his head. "I already did that. He seemed nervous but said they were just friends...... Jasper, can you help me here? Please? Talk to Rachel for me. Or even Eric. Oh! Or ask Aaron to talk to Eric!"
"That last one won't work. They kinda hate each other." He sighed and closed his eyes for a second, before opening them back up and focusing on the road. "Im scared, Jas. What I'f she's cheating on me?"
I sighed. "I'll talk to her. I promise." He turned to me and smiled, largely. "Thank you! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Fuck, Thank you so much, Jas! I-" I covered his mouth with my hand. "I get it. Lets just get to shook before we're late."
He chuckled and turned straight In the seat. "Yes ma'am."

We get to school and Shane jump out to go and talk to his friends. I make my way towards the school and look for Rachel. I see her standing by her locker, taking to some other girls. I smile and go up behind her.
"Hey Rach." I said. She turned and looked at me before smiling. Then turning back to the girls. "I'll talk to y'all later! Don't wait up." They all smiled to her before leaving.
Rachel pulled me into a big hug. "Girl, it's like I haven't seen you In days!"
"You just saw me the other day." I said, pulling back. She shrugged. "I missed you." I smiled at her an she linked our arms together, walking towards my locker and I started putting my stuff inside it. "So how's things with you and Aaron?"
She had to ask that?
"We aren't together, Rach."
"If you aren't now, you will be soon. I can see it." I rolled my eyes at her before shutting my locker and turning to her. "Well what about you and Shane?" her face dropped and she frowned, looking at the ground. "In all honesty, I feel like we're growing apart. He gets mad because I'm friends with Eric. You know, they guy you pushed me into at the lake party?"
I nodded and she continued. "Yea. Anyway, he gets mad and we get into fights.... a lot. Anytime he sees me even talking to Eric, he jumps in and starts shit. When me and Eric first met, yea, I thought he was hot. But as I got to know him, I realised I just wanted to be friends. Nothing more.
