Chapter 2

I've been with the Dixon brothers for the last 4 days and if I'm honest I'm glad I met them, I doubt I would of made it on my own in this crazy world.

We haven't stayed in one spot for more than one night, we figured it would be best to always keep going.

We once again heading through a forest as daryl was hunting again for food and he was teaching me about tracking when we comes across a camp. we duck down behind the bushes and we watch them. there was children running around, which put a smile on my face.

There was a lot of people at the camp to,
We watch quietly for a while till I look at Daryl
"Should we show ourselfs, they might let us join them safety in numbers and all that, if we don't like it we could move on" I suggest to Daryl and merle

"Let me talk to my baby brother a minute" merle said quietly, pulling Daryl's arm as he moves.

I look around the camp and see tents made up and an RV, on top of the RV was a man he looked like he was on watch.

Daryl walks over with merle and nods his head walking past me I follow and we walk out to the camp.

The man who was on top of the RV sees us and calls out to some guy named Shane.
Me merle and Daryl all stand there looking around at everyone who was crowding us. I started to feel un easy even though they all looked friendly enough and Daryl picked up on that and stepped closer to me.

"Hi y'all" a man with brown hair in a police hat and t shirt who was reasonably good looking said stepping over to us "dale here said the you appeared out the forest"

I look at him and I nod "yes that's right we come across you, and you all look friendly enough" I mutter nervously.
"Your right there" said an Asian boy who looked like he was in his early twenties "so do you have a camp near here" he asked us all
"No, we not stayed anywhere more than one night. found it safer to keep moving" Daryl said to them all
"Well your all welcome to set up camp here if you would like to. safety in numbers and all" the guy named shane said to us "that's how we all met. we been safe her since it all started"

I look around at the quarry that they had set up camp and it looked safe enough daryl looks at me and nods his head in improvement
I look at merle and he shrugs his shoulders "if Daryl's in I'm in" he mutters
"Okay then y'all well I'm shane and this is lori and Carl" shane said pointing to a woman with long brown hair she was kind of plain looking and a boy who I guessed looked about 11 or 12
"I'm glenn" said the Asian boy "and this is Andrea and Amy" Glenn said pointing to to blond girl "I'm Andrea" said the oldest one stepping forward to shake my hand but ignoring daryl and merle I guessed she got an atmosphere of them, they was both hard to read sometimes but I just went with it.

"That's dale" said the young blond girl who was Amy she was pointing to the old man on the RV who had a rifle in his hand he waved over and "that's jim carol and her daughter Sofia" Amy said pointing in the distance
I looked at carol and Sofia they was standing back from the crowd staring at us like we was animals in the zoo

"Well hi y'all" I said looking around "thank you, I'm Shannon and this is Daryl and merle Dixon"

I'm at the camp on my own Glenn had drove Daryl and merle to collect Daryl's truck and merles motorbike. I didn't like the idea of being left on my own with this camp but they was completely harmless

I'm sitting in one of the chairs that the had there they looked like they had taken them out of the inside of a car.

I'm sitting there looking around watching everyone when shane comes and sits next to me
"Shannon is it?" He asked sitting next to me
"Yes that's right" I said looking at him feeling a little shy and nervous but I smile politely
"What's your story?" He asked me
"Story?" I said questioning him
"Yeah you know, what's happened to you the last few days, since it happened. Your boyfriend said you not been in one place more than a night"
"oh daryl his not my boyfriend, he saved my ass the night it all went crazy. I've been with them since."

Shane looks at me and nods his head with a smile. when I heard the sound off cars in the distance. I look round and see the cars all pull up and out gets Daryl and merle
"Shannon" Daryl calls me "get ya ass over here we got some tents to put up"

Sorry this one short chapter. it's one of my shortest chapters ever
But I'm actually kind of lost on what to write or should I say type.
Ideas will come to me.
