NOVEMBER 1 5AM

(the ages are really different in my book, Laurie is like in her 40's here she's not old yet but she will be in the next book. Here's what she looks like if you guys didn't know)

It had been at least a few days since Y/n had gone missing, and everyone was continuing to search for her in Haddonfield, but there was no luck finding her. Was she dead? Or was she taken? Who could he be after next?

Annie got up to get ready for the day, there was no school since the two murders and Y/n getting taken. The chief did not want anyone else to go missing or get killed like her friends. When she went downstairs she saw her Grandmother Laurie sitting on the couch watching the news. Ever since he escaped she had moved in with them, to "protect" them.

Annie's mother was fine with it but not her father of course. "How long have you been up?" Annie asked her sitting beside her. Laurie didn't respond, she had her eyes glued to the TV. "Grandma." Annie said, She jumped, and turned to Annie. "Oh- good morning Annie, did you sleep well?" She asked

Annie said nothing, ever since Y/n had gone missing, and Stewart and the twins had gotten killed nothing has been going very well. "Any news on her?" Annie asked, Laurie shook her head. Annie sighed and got up walking to the kitchen and making a cup of orange juice. "But don't worry, they will find her there is a chance that she's still alive." Laurie said.

"I don't understand, why would he take her." Annie asked sitting back down again. Laurie shook her head in response. "I don't know why honey." She said. The commercial break was over and the news was back on.

Breaking news, there's been a murder at the Onyx Motel just right outside of Haddonfield, 3 bodies have been found...

Laurie stood up so fast making Annie jump. "That's very close by- I have to go." She said grabbing her jacket and shoes. "Wait- and do what?" Annie asked following her. She was already halfway out the door, "Just see what's going on, your friend Y/N could be there." She explained. "I'm coming with you." Annie said getting her jacket too.

"No... HELL no."

Annie turned around to see her mother standing by the stairs in her nightgown, her arms crossed. "But mom please Y/n might-"

"No Annie it's dangerous! And mom you shouldn't be going either- especially you you're probably the reason he escaped in the first place." Annie's mother pointed out.

Laurie looked down sighing, then she walked out the door closing it behind her before her daughter could say anything else.
