Chapter 8

Next thing they know is the helicopter is free falling onto the ground. Thankfully nobody was hurt. Everyone got out of the broken helicopter thankfully not that far away from Melinas house.

"If I hear another word from him im going to kick him in the face." Yelena walked away with Nat and Kate next to her. Kate snickered, "I would love to see that happen." Yelena smiled and looked at Kate their eyes met and they walked and looked into each others eyes. "Ew you guys are so in love its gross." Nat gagged then laughed by seeing Kate and Yelena's faces red.

"Natasha wait, I want to ask you something." Alexi ran after them to pull Nat away leaving Yelena and Kate. Kate looked at Yelena then looked at her hand slowly moving her hand closer. Yelena reached too and grabbed her hand. Kate and Yelena smiled at each other. "If your dad keeps bringing back memories imma puddy his mouth closed." Yelena giggled and told Kate it was ok. "Kate its ok I know that if im sad or upset I could go to you. Just being with you makes it better." Kate smiled big. Kate released her hand to wrap her arm around Yelena's shoulders bringing her closer.

"You haven't seen either of us in 20 years and your gonna talk about yourself." Natasha yelled catching Kate and Yelena's attention. "What is with all this tension. Did I do something wrong." Alexi walked away to be by himself between the three girls. "Is that seriously a question?" Yelena asked using her other hand to rub her forehead frustrated with her "father". "Ive only ever loved you girls." Alexi carried on. "Hey Yelena this is not my business so ill wait for you guys over here and if you need a break use me as an excuse." Yelena nodded but before Kate left Yelena brought Kates hand up to her lips kissing it. Kate pulled her closer kissing her temple then going to sit down by a nearby rock.

Natasha walked fast by Kate. Kate feeling the breeze lifted her head to find Nat walking away angrily. Kate saw Yelena coming and stood up stepping in front of Yelena. "Hey, are you ok? how did it go?" Kate wrapped her arm around Yelena's waist. "He just cares about his old days as the Red Guardian. It hurts Kate." Kate looked at Yelena sadly and brought her other arm around Yelena to give her a hug. "Im sorry Lena. I will help you I will help you release that pain even if I have to hurt I will hurt for you always." Kate released from the hug and brought her hand up to tuck away a strand of hair out of her face. "Yelena I will be here to help you lift the weight off your shoulders or to feel the pain with you and I don't care what you say if you feel pain by yourself im going to feel pain and never forgive myself for not helping you. I will take some of that pain." Kate smiled down at Yelena giving her a comforting smile. Yelena smiled, "Thanks Kate." They started walking hand in hand.

"How will we know when we are there?" Kate asked, "Oh you will know." Alexi then started doing a pig impression. Kate snorted and continued walking down the path.

Yelena ended up resting her head on Kates shoulder while walking finally getting to the house in the middle of nowhere. As Alexi said there was definitely pigs here. "Were home." Alexi soothed out his voice. Melina looked at Kate her eyes growing. "Come this way." Melina showed them the gate showing them inside. Yelena walked to the dining room, Kate following.

"Sit, sit." Melina placed down some dinner and some plates in front of everyone. While Alexi is trying to put on his suit making some.. weird noises they sat there awkwardly. "Lets have a drink." Melina poured some Vodka for everyone even Kate. "Kate, is that you I thought that was you when I saw you outside." Melina looked at Kate throwing back her shot of Vodka. "Umm yes. Its Kate, how have you been Melina." Kate threw back her Vodka her throat burning but she could take it because Nat had her drink for competition between her and Kate. "Ive been good. You are still the same as when you were a kid. Always with my girls, we loved having you over." Melina poured some more Vodka for them. "Yes it has indeed been awhile." Kate replied. Alexi coughed getting everyone's attention, "It still fits." Alexi laughed excitedly. "Ive never washed it once." Melina replied. Kate pretended to gag to Yelena and Nat they both chuckled.

Alexi say across from Kate at the head of the table. "Ahh family good to be back." Alexi reached over to grab a chicken leg. "I don't think family is the right word for this anymore after all this time." Melina replied. "Agreed. So heres whats gonna happen." Natasha tries, "Reunion then." Alexi grabbed another chicken leg. "Ok so heres whats gonna happen." Natasha leaned on the table, "Natasha don't slouch." Melina commented. "Im not slouching. I don't slouch." Then it was all a blur of what happened because the next thing is Melina is calling in a pig. "Did that pig just open the door?" Natasha asked "Yes it did. Good boy Alexi." Melina pet the pig. "You named a pig after me?" Alexi asked, "You don't see the resemblance?" Melina asked but seriously. Kate laughed but stopped when everyone looked at her. "Sorry." Kate apologized. Melina went on about the mind control they worked on over the years. Something deep then started to spark and Kate can feel it brewing.

"You are an idiot. And you are a coward. Who cares it wasn't real." Natasha commented, "What?!?" Yelena asked, "Who cares, it wasn't real." Natasha commented again. Kate saw the hurt in Yelena's eyes and this is when Kate blew up she hated seeing Yelena so hurt by her own "Families" words.

"Can you guys not see it was real to Yelena? Or are you guys just that blind. You guys were all she had left and she trusted you as her own fucking family. Natasha im sorry but your an idiot. I know how much you cared for Yelena you told me but the fact you cant see shes hurt by all of this really says a lot. How can you guys sit here and say it wasnt real when there was someone who really wanted it to be real. You guys were her parents and her childhood you taught her about firefly's and treated her as a real kid till that night. Natasha you got out did you try to go find your sister? No? Well I did I really did I wanted her back. This here is upsetting." Kate bursted out. Kate had tears after she really liked Yelena and would do anything for her. They all had their head down. Kate went to reach for Yelena's hand pausing to see if Yelena wanted it. Yelena pulled away so Kate put her hand back onto her lap. "It was real to me you were my real mother. Kate is right." Yelena got up and grabbed the whole bottle of Vodka and walked to a different room.

"Ill go talk to her." Alexi went to stand up, "No, sorry Alexi but you don't seem the right one for this right now ill go." Kate got up to go to the room heartbroken.

"I came in here because- Oh im sorry Kate I thought you were one of them." Kate sat down next to Yelena shoulders touching. "I didn't expect you do do that for me." Yelena confessed. "Of course I did Lena. Like I told you I will be here and help you with anything. So want me to puddy all their faces." Kate smiled, Yelena chuckled and rested her head on Kates shoulder. Yelena went to go grab Kates hand. Kate moved her fingers around Yelena's hand jokingly making Yelena snort. Kate rested her head on Yelena's shoulder. "Yelena I-" Kate tried when a blue light surrounded them. Yelena got up with Kate. Kate extending her bow and grabbed a regular arrow and put it in the bow ready. Yelena grabbed her gun taking lead through the house. Yelena turned a corner to Melina with her widow bites. "Im sorry." Melina shot Kate and Yelena with the bites knocking them out.

Kate started to wake feeling drowsy. "Where are we going?" Kate asked Melina in the drivers seat. "The Red Room." Then Kate was knocked out the last thing she saw was a big ass building in the sky and Yelena.
