All of that was three and a half years ago, and a lot has changed and happened in general since then.
First, I've been taking therapy for my paranoia about death and my traumatic experiences, and I think it's been helping. More than not, at least. Writing all of this was my therapist's recommendation for me.
Second, remember Evelyn and the sidewalk musician? I've kept in touch with them, and they've become my best friends. Oh yeah, the sidewalk musician's name is Austin, by the way. I tell Evie a lot about Ayelet, the stuff that I know she would be comfortable sharing that she didn't get to tell her over the course of those few months. We visit her grave every once in a while, and never forget her death anniversary. Also, Austin and I have started dating too, and we've moved in together. Yay!
Writing this has certainly been an experience for me, and I just want to thank you for being here all the way.
One more thing before I go: you only live once, cherish it while you can and make memories every second.
