14. THE ORPHANAGE AND REVEAL

After he left the meeting, Hadrian went straight to the common room. He wanted to get updates from Death and make sure they had a game plan for the orphanage. He has a couple more hours until the ending feast and he was already all packed up and all he needed to do was shrink his trunk and place it in his satchel bag. This left him with plenty of time to talk to Death. He walked straight to his dorm room and sat on his bed where he closed the curtains. 

Death?

Yes, young master?

Must I really go to the orphanage?

Yes, you must. It is pertinent that Tom grows closer to you. You will not die. You must allow him to relate to you and your situation.

Any updates, Death?

Dumbledore has upped his search into you by stealing your files and tricking that Macnair boy into answering questions about you and Tom. Dumbledore also had sexual relations with him afterwards.

OH EW Death why would you mention that part? Hadrian whined but would absolutely deny it if brought up.

I do believe it would be beneficial for Tom to know about Macnair.

I think you are right. Thank you for the updates even though it was disgusting. What is our game plan for the orphanage? What if I get blown up?

You're welcome, young master. You must gain Tom's trust. If he sees you are in the same situation he could relate to you as I have already said. Although the path you take is up to you, I must express the importance of this step. Believe me, young master. You will get on the train and then get into the car waiting to take you to the orphanage. Please do try to not get blown up. You will not remain dead but if you die, you will be stuck helping me with paperwork until your body regenerates. Stop complaining and be thankful you do not need to do all of this paperwork. As my master, you can do the paperwork for me. But you have enough on your plate without adding stupid paperwork to it. Do not test my judgement young master. You will not get blown up as long as you don't do anything stupid.

I forgot I couldn't die. I will go to the orphanage and hopefully, Tom won't completely despise me. Do you erm need help with the paperwork? I will gladly help you do the stupid paperwork if it allows you to stop overworking yourself. I am sorry Death. I am not testing your judgement. I just really do not enjoy the thought of being stuck in that horrible place like Tom is. I wonder if it would be possible to help Tom leave the orphanage when he trusts me more. I don't like the thought of him being stuck there any more than I like the fact that I have to go. I am thankful I did the ritual so at least I won't be completely helpless.

Master, it would be very helpful if you would do that but you do not have to. I know you do not but it must happen. That is an interesting thought. I think that would be a fabulous idea to look into as it would help both of you. You are anything but helpless master. I will gift you a book that will allow you to train your death magic that was bestowed upon you when you accepted. I will not have much time to train you myself sadly due to both wars but I will help when needed. Oh by the way master. Anyone you bond to will be immortal as well. I must go now but you must get closer to Tom. Do try not to die.

Hadrian sat for a few minutes thinking everything over that Death told him before...

...WAIT WHY DID DEATH TELL HIM ABOUT HIM BONDING WITH SOMEONE? Hadrian doubts he will ever trust anyone enough to bond with them for life. Anyways he didn't have time to think about that right now. He should probably go find Tom to tell him about what Dumbledore did.
