So, we walked into the Red Robin, which wasn't super crowded, likely because it was a random Tuesday. Apparently people just don't go to Red Robin on random Tuesdays. It was rather nice, though, because we got to be seated right away.

"Alright, everyone, do you need anything before I get your drink order?" the waitress asked as we sat down.

"Do you have any children's menus? With crayons?" Tamari asked in response to her question,  with genuine excitement in their voice.

"Yes, we do! I'll be right back with that, and then I'll take your drink order." The waitress walked off to get Tamari's menu, which left the three of us alone.

"So... how exactly did you acquire Tamari, a character whom of which we have only known to exist in fiction?" Angie gestured to Tamari as if to further prove that they did, in fact, exist.

"Um, they just came in the mail today with my Tamari plushie. I have no idea why," I explained.

Angie now looked to Tamari. "Uh, Tamari, why were you in that box?"

Tamari shrugged. "I don't know. I just remember being in the box, and then opening it and finding myself in your house."

The actual consumption of lunch was rather uneventful. Angie and I got to catch up, and we overall had a good time. The funniest thing was when the waitress came to take our food order, she asked what Tamari wanted. In response, they said,

"Nothing, thanks," in a polite tone. The waitress looked at them, confused why they had asked for a kids' menu if they weren't going to order anything off it, then went back to our order.

After lunch, we decided to show Tamari the park.
