A few minutes of having the window open after the kitchen fiasco, and you'd have never guessed that something got burned. Angie and I got dressed, I got my laptop, and then Tamari and us all piled into Angie's car to go to McDonald's. Just like yesterday, the whole drive Tamari was glued to the window as if they were a little kid in the earliest stages of going on a road trip. So, really darned cute. I took out my phone to take a picture, and then realized.

"Oh my gosh, I thought it was Tuesday!" I exclaimed, in the middle of the road.

"It is Wednesday," Tamari turned from the window to look at me, like I was so silly to think it was Tuesday.

Angie, who was driving, didn't look off the road. "That was yesterday, Ophie."

"Yeah, I know," I argued, "But for some reason I thought today was also Tuesday."

"It isn't," Angie reminded me. "It's Wednesday."

"Like it's never happened to you!" I turned as best as I could in the car seat, so that my back was to her, and crossed my arms.

"Didn't say it hasn't."

"That has never happened to me," Tamari chimed in from the backseat.

"You're an exception," I called back at them. It was at about this time that we pulled into the McDonald's drive thru. We got our breakfast, and ate in the parking lot whilst Angie and Tamari continued to tease me over thinking it was Tuesday. Eventually I told them to shut up and then they mostly stopped.

After our random McDonald's breakfast fun, Angie started to drive herself to work. At some point, we stopped at a random red light.

Angie started as if something had just come to her mind, and turned to me. "Oh hey wait, do you need to steal my car to get home? I know you work at home now. We should've taken seperate cars-"

"One step ahead of you," I cut her off. "I brought my computer with me, so I can work wherever. My plan is to take Tamari to the library or something, and let them entertain themself. That reminds me though, can you pick us up?"

"Look at you, getting everything all planned out!" Angie exclaimed, then smiled. "Yeah, I can get you. Just text me."

A few minutes after that, we arrived at Angie's workplace, a tall office building. Tamari and I said goodbye to Angie, and I told her that I would text her where our location later.

"Where are we going to go now?" Tamari asked.

I took out me phone, and opened up Google Maps. "We're about to find out."

(A/N: sorry I know this isn't that much longer, but I think the story works better in these little chunks. It'll go somewhere soon)
