"How are you?" Tuan Guru Gaharum asks him as they sit a bit far from where others gather.

"I'm okay," Duri replies while touching his mug.

"You still heard them?" Tuan Guru Gaharum asks as he refers to their surroundings. Making Duri look at his surroundings too before looking at Fern.

"I still do," Duri reply.

"But it doesn't sound that bad like yesterday right?" Tuan Guru Gaharum carefully asks.

"Yes. Surprisingly yes. It's because of the soup? That's why I'm okay today?" Duri asks Tuan Guru Gaharum back.

"It's not really the soup though. The soup just gives you some strength after the whole event you have been facing for the last two days." Tuan Guru Gaharum said.

"The reason why you can hear them just okay right now, it's because you're...calm." Tuan Guru Gaharum adds.

"Calm?" Duri asks back.

"Yes. You're calm. You didn't feel sad anymore. You didn't freak out anymore. You...you accept the situation. Like you always do." Tuan Guru Gaharum said making Duri fall into deep thought.

"It's true isn't it?" Tuan Guru Gaharum asks to make Duri back to reality.

"Maybe deep inside, I did already. I just don't know how to approach them back. It's because I never act the way I did before." Duri told him honestly.

"Have you noticed that you never lost control? I mean, if you're not so angry or sad, you can control your power just fine?" Tuan Guru Gaharum asks Duri again making Duri's eyes widen. He can't deny it.

"That's kind of true but I'm so ready to let go of my power. I even consider asking Tuan Guru if King Balakung has any successor," Duri tell.

"Why? Why did you want to give up yourself? I'm sure your original self loves this power yours more than you know." Tuan Guru Gaharum replied.

"Because I don't want to drag anyone down. My original self didn't isn't really trusting my power to get my own power. I also rarely get out. So shouldn't have stayed don't I?" Duri tell.

"Duri, everyone loves you more than you know. You think they are doing okay without you. Do you think your original self will be happy if he lost one of his power again? The answer is, you're wrong." Tuan Guru Gaharum replies softly.

"I could never imagine if I see one of us be gone again!" Duri said as he shook his head in disagreement.

"So do them. Don't you think they want you to be gone? Worse, you decide to give yourself up, willingly."  Tuan Guru Gaharum tells.

"But Taufan too. It's because Taufan is scared he can't control his power. And there's also His Highness. But you're different. No one wants to steal your power. No one wants it back. Not because your power is not good or what but we don't see anyone control this power of yours better than your original self." Tuan Guru Gaharum tells.

"And to answer your question. No, he doesn't have any successor." Tuan Guru Gaharum tells again.

"Duri, you get your third tier late don't mean you're useless. Even if others get it before you, you're not useless. In fact, the best always come late." Tuan Guru Gaharum continues.
